small problem.

some female npc's have discoloration on foreheads. i tried a fix for it i found in another forum (delete the femaleuppereyesocket file) but it did not do anything.

i still cant fix this i even re installed SG female textures renewal but that did not fix anything. not all females have this just some. if anyone can help me with this i would be grateful. also why is this face so dirty (i guess that's what you would call it).

i have also found that a lot of the younger adults have old wrinkly faces.

i fixed the forehead problem now some npc have a darker head then the rest of the body.

I suspect this is not compatible with the body and face texture.
you say it yourself "mature skin texture", with some characters of the older group created graphic error. I also noticed that the body texture is not in order.

here you can see that the face is much darker than the body!

if you are using a face texture, then you must always install with the corresponding body texture. So face and body must come from a mod.

i'm using one single female texture mod  "SG female textures renewal CBBE" so i shouldn't have any conflicting textures. its only with females and only on some. i fixed my brown foreheads but now i have a problem with the heads being a darker shade then the body.

well its back and i don't know why. i'm only using SG female textures renewal CBBE on CBBE body , it is not so bad when there is a bright light but once they are in a dark area it sticks out a lot. any further help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to wherever your skyrim\data folder is and go into the Caliente Tools folder. You should see TexBlend Lite. Go into that folder and run TexBlend. It'll take a few minutes and won't seem like it's doing anything, but it should come back with the message that it ran successfully. That should take care of that neck seam.

TexBlend did not fix it, so i reinstalled of cbbe and that didn't work. its not on all female npc but its on a lot of them. anyone got any other ideas?

some people seem to have had this problem because of a load order issue. so i have been tweaking mine and nothing has changed still. so if anyone can help that would be great. here is my load order, let me know if you see something that should be moved around.

Look in Skyrim\Data\Textures\actors\character\female,

Delete everything in the folder that is a .dds file.

This action will revert the Game to using the Vanilla Skyrim Textures.

Look at Your character in the Game

Reinstall the Texture Pack.

Your Screenshots look like You are not getting a matching tint(?) texture.

These are the four texture types that are normally installed on a Modded Game for characters.

_1_sk.dds

_1_s.dds

If a Mod has added an individual face texture that just replaces one of these four types on just one body part, then You get what is shown in Your screenshots. I have been using the newest CBBE, and many of My old body textures do not work with the new hand and foot textures of CBBE. TexBlend can fix some of the mismatches.

I had the forhead problem when I exported the face gen data with CK on some custom NPCs from merged mods. If you merged any mods make sure that Tes5edit Is installed in the same folder as skyrim. When merging them again it should correct itself.

As for fixing gray faces MFG console is very useful. It will tell you the Mod that made the last chance to the NPC and from there you need to either clean the mod if it made no actual changes to the NPC or open the mod that made the last chance in CK and then export the face gen.

ok so i deleted the .dds files in Skyrim\Data\Textures\actors\character\female but they still have the grey heads. the only other mods that i had that altered the female npc are Apachii hair for npc but i removed that too and its still like this.

it only happens on females npc (not old female) doesn't happen to males and doesn't happen to my character. only on npc females and only on some.

just noticed that the only npc that have this have a vanilla hair while using apachii hair for npc mod. and it turns out the npc overhaul i was using had a lot of problems so i'm going to reinstall the hairs and then install Inhabitants of Skyrim - NPC Overhaul and see if that helps but if not i'm just going to bed and deal with it tomorrow.
