Getting NPCs to pose

Alright, so basically, I installed Pinup Poser a couple of weeks ago, and I have no idea how to make other NPCs pose for, let's say, a paired pose.

So, I guess, what do I do/how do I do it?

I'd appreciate it if someone could straight up tell me instead of sending me a link.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with this. :)

Go to your armor inventory, select on a 'Select ring' (for example, EX1 Select, I forget the full name). Exit the inventory and you'll get an easy to navigate popup menu. Just select any random pose, most of them are explained by the menu itself.

To use the pose on yourself, go back to the inventory, and select the corresponding ring next to the pack you chose (so, in this case, EX1). That should close the inventory and you character will perform the pose. To end the pose, just jump in the air.

For NPC's there should be a set of spells, also all linked to the pose packs. Select a spell, point and click a normal spell on an npc and it should be fine, although the newer updates by Halo made them into powers instead of spells.

That should be everything.

depends on the version you have.

Here is what I do. You'll find all the rings at the bottom of your inventory under armor. Favorite Standing Pose 1 select and Standing pose 1 play rings.

Now exit your inventory and bring up your favorite's window "Q" should be your favorites window. Find the zz Standing Pose 1 Select and zz Standing Pose Play 1 and hotkey them to 1 and 2. Hotkey the select ring as 1 and the play ring as 2. Close your favorites window with tab.

Now press 1. You will get a pop up window showing numbers 1-9 click on one of those numbers you'll be taken into a sub category with another set of numbers. These are the poses. There should be a description of what each pose is. Standing, Leaning, is there a weapon. Its pretty self explanatory. Select pose 1. When you do this, the popup window will exit automatically.

Now press 2 on your keyboard. Your character should now pose with the pose you selected.

OK to pose an NPC:

Depends in the version you have. Older versions used spells. Look at your spell list. I don't recall now if they are under conjuring, illusion or something else... Anyway find the poses and select the Standing Poses 1 NPC spell. Cast it on an NPC and they will pose. Keep in mind if your doing this to sandboxing NPC they may continue to move around.

If your on the latest version then the spells were replaced with powers. Now you can go into your powers section below your spells list and find Standing Poses 1 NPC power. Select it and then face the NPC you wish to pose. Press your power button "Z" for most keyboard users and the NPC will now pose. Press "Z" again while facing that NPC and they will unpose.

If you need tips on moving an NPC and keeping them stationary for posing, let me know.

well many of us can't live without pose mods :D So we understand how it can be to not know what to do with them. Your lucky the version you have has been refined so well. I was using pinup back when it was new... none of the poses had descriptions then.

Thank you for explaining this!! I've always wanted to use pinup poser on my npcs but I could never figure it out and I feel so stupid for not being able too xD haha Thanks again!

Will pinuppose only work on UNP body if installed?

It will work on any body on any humanoid NPC. Can even use them on different genders, although a lot of the poses are very feminine  :P

I believe i jus downloaded 1.3 of pinup poser. My question is, is there any spell, or power that enables you and an NPC to truly pose together? Does PP Pair do this? I tried this one but i only seem to get it, or any other pose to work either on an NPC or myself, one at a time.

Not really, you have to position your PC and NPC to make them pose.

The pair poses are intended for you and an npc but as Miss says it still involves manual positioning. Disabling collision detection and the npc's AI once they're in position makes that a lot easier too.

I tried to use Halo's pair poses, but I got a couple of things I need to take care for that.

It was already explained how to get NPCs to pose, but how do I:

- make them stop moving so that I can position them?

- get them naked and make the NPC penis erect?

Some hits to move NPCs for poses:

-Use "animation shout" on NPC

-Bring down the console

-Click on NPC (his id will appear)

-type TC (you'll take control of the NPC, must be in third person)

-move the NPC as you wish

-when done moving him, type TAI (toggle AI, NPC will stay still on that position)

-type TC again to regain control of your character, then position your character close to the NPC

TGM is also recommended, because while on TC your character will still respond to your controls while moving the NPC, so he won't die by falling or drowning.

Oh and always make a manual save before using console commands, especially when using custom poses.

I know this an old thread, but I had to thank you, I've never done any pair posing, but in fact part of the reason I am trying to figure it out is because of YOUR recent sets on the nexus. I did a quick search and here you are on LL explaining it to me lol
