EdinMG Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 he died?! *yesterday, omg! Unfortunately yes, besides all other health problems that he already had, he died from a fuckin' cancer, this was the last drop for him.
Rorschach666 Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 well if someone lived his life, its him. motörhead gone...drummer also died this year. but, i believe, no other band has released so many albums.
Cynical Misanthrope Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Although I faded away from most Heavy Metal band years ago, to make space for more extreme Metal, there are one band I still listen quite frequently to, and that are Motörhead. Lemmy were one of my biggest inspirations, and his music saved my ass more times than I can count. Right now I can't even comprehend what has happen. Lemmy were a God amongst man, and without his commitment, love and passions for music, music would had looked a lot different today. I only saw Motörhead live once, and that left an huge impact on me. To this very day. I also had the pleasure to speak to him, and he were one of the most intelligent souls I have ever meet. Right now, I can't even listen to Motörhead. I feel like "what's the point?", but that is exactly the opposite what he wanted. So I guess it's time to pick up the old dusty Jack Daniel's bottle, and blast some Motörhead classics. R.I.P. LEMMY.
