One more from me... Ever tried Hellgate: London? In short..it's a Diablo game in 3rd/1st person view and in modern age ...IMO very underrated game.

I just found this, if you're okay with RPG Maker games, I think it's worth a try.
I heard this game is inspired by suikoden II.

There's another game I can recommend, but it's not strictly RPG. It's kind of a lot like Freelancer where you can buy and customise your ship and hire/fire three officers. As you cruise the map, you can do missions, random violence, trading, etc and as you play, gain levels to improve your crew responses. It's currently Early Access be steadily edging towards full release.
