Vuulgar Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 I have been amazed in my relatively short term even being aware of the modding community at the variety of mods and the scope of possible alterations to a great game that make Skyrim almost timeless in a way. Two of my more favorite mods, Alternate Start - Live another life and Death Alternative - Your money or your life, are especially ingenious because they add an element of variety to situations that were originally static. Replayability to its finest. First off, I am not a modder, I have begun playing with the CK a bit but I have no history with such things and my learning curve will be very long and very slow when built around the curse of real life....my job. So I had an idea and if anyone capable of making it likes the idea, I would love playing with this mod. I would like to see a framework similar to Death Alternative but not triggered by death or any event other than random chance and location. A random roll could compare to an encounter percentage, possibly adjustable in an MCM. If an encounter chance is met the current location (city, wilderness, dungeon) determines the list the encounter is pulled from...as example, a wilderness encounter might be an NPC running up asking for help to regain an item nearby or to defeat someone/ something out to do harm or possibly a unseen attacker knocks the PC out only to wake as they are being raped, robed or the PC could stumble on to an evil ritual and need to rescue the sacrifice or kill the evil that was summoned. Add-ons for this framework could be made to be quest starters or just small encounters, some sex based and some not, but things that change the known so you really have no idea what you might get the next time you enter Bleak Falls Barrow or run across the plains west of Whiterun. As I said I am basic in my knowledge so this may be too difficult, but it sounded fun enough to me to at least throw the idea out there and see what everyone thinks......be nice.....
Kuロi Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Honestly I'm rather curious about how hard/easy it would be to simply add encounters to the vanilla ones Skyrim already has. We've got Solutions that adds sexual outcomes to pretty much all of'em but I've yet to see someone add, say, some random highly aroused woman in need of release, or some nudist guy at a crossroad. Is it something that is actually really hard to add ?
Fotogen Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Construction Kit *is* that framework. Quest and Story Manager. In CK look into all quests (Character\Quest) that start with WE and in SM Event Node (Story Manager) look(open) Change Location Event. Quest is quest (what will happen), with SM Event Node you can start, trigger quests that you want to start only when something happens, lets say PC enters a specific area. This can be a good start how to make quests: http://www.creationkit.com/Category:Tutorials
