Either, some mod messes up the skin textureset, some mod which has messed up the race skin setting, or some armor replacer mod that has inconsistant skin shader settings either in their texture set or in the shader itself.

Probably, as Groovtama said, your Data\textures\actors\character\Character Assets\ folder texture files could be messed up.

Backup the files in that folder, download a skin texture pack compatible with your body type installed, copy the character assets folder from that texture pack into the character assets folder in your game and test again.

Didn't meant the textures in the folder, I meant the "texture set" in the mesh\body\armor addon\race is broken becuase that's most likely show the default texture set of the mesh and some people thought let's set it to astridbody.dds

Which could also mean that it is a custom race issue--make sure the race of that particular character is not custom. If it is, then the .esp/.esm isn't using a proper textures set for that race, or that texture set change is being overwritten by a later mod.

Else, check the .nif and make sure the Skyrim Shader Tyoe is set to Skin Tint. And as a backup, all the textures in the BSTextureSet should be set to femalebody_1 (like "textures\actors\character\female\femalebody_1.dds", "textures\actors\character\female\femalebody_1_msn.dds", "textures\actors\character\female\femalebody_1_sk.dds", etc.). That way if there is an error in texture sets, the skin will only be discolored instead of being all burnt.

Just something to add to jacques00 comment

Body get their Skin Texture Set normally assigned directly! So what texture set paths you are assigning in the body is not important.

On armors skin replacement is done by a path pattern.

Meaning Armor with Skin Tint as shader but wrongly setup paths in the Texture Set don't get replaced correctly. (Correctly would be as pointed out "textures\actors\character\female\femalebody_1.dds", "textures\actors\character\female\femalebody_1_msn.dds", "textures\actors\character\female\femalebody_1_sk.dds", etc.).

bumping this in case someone else needs help regarding this issue, so far i've fixed it with these steps, quoting from

http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/669650-player-char-has-burnt-body-when-naked/

Go to Skyrim\Data\textures\actors\character\female\ .
Make a copy femalebody_1.dds and put that copy in another folder. Rename it to astridbody.dds and move it back into Skyrim\Data\textures\actors\character\female\ , and overwrite the existing file.
Repeat the process with femalebody_1_msn.dds and astridbody_msn.dds.

in my case, there is no such file as astridbody.dds and astridbody_msn.dds, but it still worked anyway
