Ashra XIII Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 The new Arousal mod is pretty good, but it does seem to have some incompatibilities, as stated in the description. Specifically, I found I was getting CTDs with Radiant Prostitution, which went away instantly when I switched back to the old Sexlab Aroused mod. This is likely because the author for RP has gone missing and not updated things, but that series of CTDs made me wary of using it again, even though I tend to always grasp at the chance to reduce script load in my games. I also do agree that the penalties for high arousal are too great in Sexlab Aroused, though I don't know if they are any different in the Redux version. It starts to make me crazy when my character will actually sheathe her sword in order to rub her groin as nasty monsters close in on her. I mean, if this was Corruption of Champions, that'd be a perfect setup for a juicy rape scene, but in Skyrim it just means they all are standing next to me when the animations stop with their weapons drawn, and can start kicking my butt while I struggle to draw steel once more, hoping the animation doesn't just start all over again.

Doesn't this come from Devious Devices hardcore effects? As far as I know, Sexlab Aroused itself only has the experience gain debuff with high arousal. You can switch the hardcore effects from DD on and off in its mcm menu.

I really hope somebody will make a new arousal mod what is working, but if not what if somebody would do a mod which playing these animations on all the women of Skyrim according to their arousal levels (with scripts so no more slide animations) so we could have lifelike immersive women with all of their desires? Currently there is nothing which would show how aroused is the female npc in Skyrim and I think this should be addressed. Even if there is no new arousal mod it still could be done for the old...
