Mdy Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Hi folks, I'm following a lot of mods. Right now SexLab got an update and it appears that the oldest DL files I'm following won't give me a Messenger note. The same goes to ZaZ, Defeat, SoS and so on.I've tried to unfollow them and reactivated the tracking with no success (edit: forgotten which ones I'd reactivated, the mentioned mods were still the oldest I've subscribed). So has LL a limit of following mods? With best regards
Imperfection Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Have you verified your settings in your account? 1. Under your account name in upper left hand corner select "Content I Follow" 2. Then click on "Downloads" under "By Content Type" 3. Is anything listed? If so select "Toggle Edit Options", this swill display current status of notifications or type under the name of each mod download. 4. Make changes if incorrect If this does not solve it then maybe an admin can chime in and offer help.
meltedbytheun Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 I'm having the same problem. There is a mod I'm following. It keeps getting updated, but I haven't gotten a notification.
Mdy Posted August 12, 2014 Author Posted August 12, 2014 Of course they were listed there. But I can't tell you the type of the notification dropdown anymore, cause I've unfollowed und re-followed them now. They're at the beginning of my followed DLs again and I'll see if it'll work. Guess that happened somewhen in the past, around last winter, they'd simply stopped giving update messages.
Imperfection Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 You can tell the type of notification currently assigned for each followed file by clicking the button "Toggle Edit Options", it then appears below each followed file. I am not saying it is not broken but I am sure LL admin will have you check these settings so best to be able to say ya checked that, verified that, etc. Are you seeing what I am talking about? If you stuff is set right and it still does not wok then PM and admin so they can look at the issue, sorry. EDIT: Also check under your profile "Notification Options" and "My Notifications" and see if one of those settings is wrong.
Mdy Posted August 12, 2014 Author Posted August 12, 2014 Thank you for the reply once again, I've seen and am still seeing what you're talking about.Everyone of my 10 pages of followed mods got the "Notify immediately" status. quoting myself: But I can't tell you the type of the notification dropdown [from the faulty ones] anymore, cause I've unfollowed und re-followed them now. But I'm sure they were set as "immediately", too. Also your mentioned "Notification Options" and "My Notifications" seems to be in order.
Imperfection Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Sorry could not help then, you will have to pm an admin or moderator if there is a limit to the number of followed items or if its just broken.
meltedbytheun Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 All of my followed mods are set to immediate, and I'm still getting this issue. Guess it's time to bug someone.
Mdy Posted August 12, 2014 Author Posted August 12, 2014 Thank you for your time. I'm pretty sure there is a bug in the system and will contact an official anyway. I've noticed, observed and checked the problem for half a year now and am more curious about- other people, if they've got the same problem too - and if the problem will be resolved with a restored "follow this file". This can only confirmed on my side when an update of SexLab / Defeat / SoS / ZaZ will be released.
LaEspada Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Same issue here, some files don't tell me when they update, some do.
