newbmaster3963 Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 There's this armor mash-up I've been wanting to get my hands on. But I think I need a Naver account to be able to download it on this page: http://saikik24.tistory.com/1432 Can anyone help a brother out?
myuhinny Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/42169/? No real need to download it from nevercafe just download the original and do exactly what they did yourself using nifskope and gimp with .dds plugin. Unzip the file into a folder on your desktop load the armor into nifskope click the armor top click the arrow to the left that has BSShaderTextureSet and find the texture being used. Also go to render at the top and then settings and follow the folder path to the data folder click the data folder and then hit ok so that it renders in nifskope. Right click the armor top go to node attach property and select NiAlphaProperty then save as. Load up the texture file into gimp use the lasso tool to lasso the parts that you want to remove from the texture file use edit then cut to cut that spot out then file overwrite .dds file then look at nifskope with the NiAlphaProperty added to the upper armor it should make that area disappear. If it looks good continue if not use the undo and overwrite .dds file to revert the texture file back to the way it was a try again. You will probably need to port a body into the armor and you will have to remove the leather body by right clicking it and going to block remove branch then save as. Note there are 2 nif files for each thing in skyrim so what you do to one nif must be done to the 2nd one as well or it will not show up in game.
