Guest Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 My dilemma is that I modified an armor but now the hdt breasts clip through the armor's front when they bounce. Is there a way to disable it in nifscope or some other way? I'm rly just scratching the surface of modding so I have no idea how to do this. I was searching for an unp bra that doesn't use body slot 32to try and get around the problem but I can't find one at all.An invisible unp bra(so no bounce may happen) would be the bestest. So yeah any idea what I could do to avoid bounciness with the armor? Thanks for reading my stupid, and probably pretty rare problem (what mad person would not want hdt seriously?).
blabba Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Insert an empty but valid hdt.xml into the armour's nif. It'll stop the bouncing.
Guest Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Thanks for the very quick reply. Is there a tutorial for this somewhere?I have no idea what that means, sorry. Going to try and google search this .Edit:found thishttp://www.loverslab.com/topic/22938-add-hdt-breast-collision-physics-to-all-your-armor-with-just-1-armor/ going to read through it and I hope it will enlighten me ^^
Guest Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 So you wanna an armor without BBP? Is this a problem? Well I was grabbing armor parts from other armor mod and putting it on the unpb body. It was all fine and nice but when I move the darn hdt make the bewbs clip through the chest plate which makes me mad. And I have no idea how to make it so that when I equip the armor the hdt physics is disabled. I'm just replacing an existing armor's meshes with the one botched together by me. And yeah I have no clue now. Pretty much just trying to google stuff and see if they work. Edit: Lol his post isn't there anymore xD
zax Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Tutorial: https://code.google.com/p/hdt-pe/wiki/AttachToExisting (attach empty xml as suggested above)
Guest Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 So yeah i did this just with an empty xml file and i put it in a different folder.Nothing happened, still bouncing. Going to try with different path tomorrow I guess but other than that I did the same thing as in the tutorial.
Guest Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Okay, tried the tutorial attaching the empty file to the main branch but nothing happens. Keep in mind the armor I'm trying to manipulate is basically a female body with stuff attached to it. Maybe I'm not attaching the file to the right branch of stuff?
ppkkpp Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Okay, tried the tutorial attaching the empty file to the main branch but nothing happens. Keep in mind the armor I'm trying to manipulate is basically a female body with stuff attached to it. Maybe I'm not attaching the file to the right branch of stuff? open the armor in bodyslide, highlight the body mesh. (make sure you don't have one of the armor parts highlighted) then click on the weightpaint tab in bodyslide. then, one a time, click on each of these four bones: rbreast, rbreast01, lbreast, lbreast01 and "scrub" away all the weight paint. I think you hold ctrl and just drag the mouse around until all the color is gone. You may have to hold shift, or alt, but I'm pretty sure its ctrl. Your other option, if you are not using a custom body, would be to simply delete the body in bodyslide and paste the same one in, only that doesn't have bbp support. Whichever option you choose, make sure to do it with both high and low weight. I guess you could also attach an empty file, but for me at least working with bodyslide is way easier than niffskope.
