Neodarkside Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Just wondering if anyone has this issue, NPCs that are currently talking that should be seated, Jarls, or anyone that is sitting while talking, will stand up, walk around their chair and sit back down, only to get right back up again. Its mildly amusing to watch the negotiations at High Hrothgar and seeing everyone there playing musical chairs. Only people who stay seated are ones who are not talking at the time.

Slorm Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Are you running Estrus for Skyrim as I had the same problem until I stopped using it (I was also running Estrus Mimics, Estrus Charus+ and Actor Events so might have been anyone of them). Â Never had problems with Jarls, but I always did with Alvor and Codlak (and the Redgaurd woman Sadia ho liked to stand on the table)
Neodarkside Posted July 29, 2014 Author Posted July 29, 2014 Yeah I am using Estrus for Skyrim. I updated it about the same time I added Animal Mansion. Tried removing Animal mansion but it crashes every time I tried loading it without it. Starting over with a new game today so removing unwanted mods, might have to remove Estrus for skyrim and see if its the cause. I removed Charus and Actor Events as I never used them. I do like my mimics tho.
Slorm Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Yeah shame about Mimics. Â I noticed tonight looking in the Estrus for Skyrim posts on Nexus someone was complaining of the same thing there. Â Edit: Not sure if you can get away with a script cleaner but probably best to start a new game without Estrus in any case. You can always take a save then COC to one of the locations to check the NPC's are behaving normally (check Kodlak for instance)
Neodarkside Posted July 30, 2014 Author Posted July 30, 2014 I forgot to disable Estrus in my new game, tho I do like the mod, especially mimics. I dealt with the annoying spam bug before, the one that spawned a note in midair telling you to go update the mod. So I can deal with NPCs playing musical chairs. Hopefully the next update will fix it.
Guest Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Seems like it fixed itself for me. Alvor ran around his chair once but then he just kept sitting, pretty amusing though.
Neodarkside Posted August 2, 2014 Author Posted August 2, 2014 New Estrus for Skyrim came out, ver 1.10. So far the standing up thing looks like its fixed, tho NPCs are still sitting thru their chairs.
