Animations are not playing

So I saw a modded play through and liked how the defeat mod made death both something you want to avoid, and gave an option to avoid the load screen when defeated.  So I installed sexlab, FNIS, and defeat.  So I go in game to test it, but the sex animations don't play, the bandits just stand there.  I've tried re installing the mods, installing different versions, and cleaning the mods.  any ideas on what could be wrong?
