germanicus Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Is anyone has same problem like me when run LOOT 0.6.0 it gives some weird numbers in list of master files like -999999 and all listed mods having either "0" or "x". After that I have a blank page report? Version 0.5.0 works great, but this one is problematic on my computer. I red troubleshooter but can't find the answer.
Killikrates~2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 I'm not sure I understand. Are you running LOOT standalone, or through Mod Organizer? I'm using LOO 0.6.0 launched through MO and it runs as expected, I can even drag & drop to create user rules (which I missed from BOSS Userlist Manager).
bahamut2119 Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 I see that as well but doesn't seem to mess with anything at least that i've noticed.
germanicus Posted July 17, 2014 Author Posted July 17, 2014 Sorry if being not cleared. I'm using LOOT stand alone, and have no MO. I tried to install LOOT 0.6.0 manually and running .exe file installer, but the result was the same.
srayesmanll Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 The -999999 values and other numbers is part of their sorting mechanic. The -999999 and that range appear at the top of the load order (main mod, DLCs, and patches), 999999 appear at the bottom (for example, AltStart-LiveAnotherLife) has the upper end value so it appears at the bottom end of the sort order . This is what they call "priority". It was in the previous version as well, it just wasn't as prominently displayed.
germanicus Posted July 17, 2014 Author Posted July 17, 2014 Thank you sraysmanll, but why I have an empty detail box? In the previous version I had a list of the arranged mods, now it is blank. (I wanted to post the picture, but stupid Gadwin doesn't let me) Now I got this:
srayesmanll Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 This is the result page, correct? Definitely should not be blank. You should see a summary with various counts (errors, messages, etc), then click on the detail tab and see the list of mods in the LOOT order. If this is blank, not sure what to say (never seen it with BOSS or LOOT). Have you tried running LOOT as administrator?
germanicus Posted July 17, 2014 Author Posted July 17, 2014 I just tried to run as admin but no help, same result
Killikrates~2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Have you checked the "Game" drop down menu, is "Skyrim" selected? Also, under the "Edit" drop down, is the Install Path for Skyrim correct? I think I had to verify & correct both of those after running the 0.6.0 installer.
germanicus Posted July 17, 2014 Author Posted July 17, 2014 Yes, Skyrim is selected and right path is listed. I just returned to 0.5.0 version, and again, no problem.
srayesmanll Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 You aren't running windows XP are you? The newest LOOT version is compatible with Vista on up. No more XP support.
germanicus Posted July 17, 2014 Author Posted July 17, 2014 I apologize for not giving full description of my problem. I'm running Win 7 64 bit, Proffesional.
germanicus Posted July 17, 2014 Author Posted July 17, 2014 I found the source of the problem on official FAQ LOOT pafe: Quote: "LOOT uses Windows' internal web browser to display its report. This web browser is basically Internet Explorer, but it's present even if you have Internet Explorer disabled. If it's not displaying LOOT's report properly, this may be because it isn't up-to-date. The report display has been tested using IE 11, which is available to all Windows 7 and 8.x users. Windows Vista users can only update as far as IE 10, and though the report should display with this version, it is untested." So, I'musing MFF. Therefore, I can't see my report. Sorry for taking your time! Appreciate all your help.
srayesmanll Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Also, check the FAQs ( https://github.com/loot/loot.github.io/wiki/LOOT-FAQs ). It has something about seeing a blank reports. Also look at the Forums for LOOT ( http://loot.github.io/ - forum link at the bottom) for further info. Damn... ninja'd again
Killikrates~2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 You know, I saw that in the thread (about only supporting IE) but it didn't occur to me that might be your issue. I was in that thread trying to figure out if I could set userlist rules, but I think I found the answer in a STEP thread, anyways glad you're sorted & glad I figured out how to set rules, double win!
germanicus Posted July 17, 2014 Author Posted July 17, 2014 Problem solved!!! Since I am not using IE, I had an outdated version of IE (9.0) and LOOT 0-6-0 requires IE 11.I just upgraded my IE and LOOT works great. Now I can see my report using MFF. Thank you all for being dedicated in helping me find the solution.
