d2vis Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Hello, so I seem to have an awkward problem in Skyrim . After installing Killer Keos Skimpy CBBE V2 farm clothes replacer mod, all the npc's in skyrim who wear farm clothes appear weird. Here are a couple screenshots to illustrate. As you can see the armor works fine on me, but for some reason not on npcs. Anyone have a clue why or how I can fix this?
Kraxon Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 I remember seeing that particular outfit on NPCs in Whiterun. It worked fine there, it just looked very out of place on some very old woman. So I don't know. Do you have any high res or alternative textures installed? Purple goo means usually a texture problem.
ReMeDy Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 I choose not to use armors that effect "common" clothes, like farm clothes, because then NPC's become effected as well.
Kraxon Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Curiously enough I had a similar problem today, but with the fur armor. Only one of the three variants of the fur armor was glitched, and only when the PC wore it. I saw the same fur armor later on a NPC, and it looked fine. Then I tried it on another time, and it looked fine too. On another occasion I tried it on again in a different save, and it was glitched again. It looked a bit like the mesh chaos on your picture, but with fur armor textures applied to it. Maybe the update has something to do with it? Update: After deleting the fur armor meshes of darkstararmors, everything fits fine again. But I am pretty sure that mod worked without problems prior to the update.
d2vis Posted February 3, 2012 Author Posted February 3, 2012 Ah you're right deleting the meshes for my farm clothes restored it back to normal :\. But now the meshes only apply for the PC and not NPCS.
