RainUponYou Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Now Before telling anything at all i have searched the forum and i couldnt find anything about this so i decided to make this topicand this "solution" will make you fiddle with nifskope and stuff so get ready and I'm a beginner at these thingsrequirements:NifskopeHdt.xml filefemalehead.nif(everyone has it these days gotta find where it is in MO)Problem:Collision Doesnt work with MoSolution: SimpleFirst lets make the head allow collision with all TBBP/BBP armors(you might know collision by head but just read it it isnt so long) 1-İnstall HDT from nexus on MO2-find a suitable hdt.xml (The one i used is Customized Bounce Kit)3-open nifskope4-Load your Femalehead.nif from the location it is in (my file was coming from ECE but i changed file location to my body mod and selected from there and my body mod overwrite's eve files now dont know if it works if you dont do it like this)6-right click>Block>insert>NiStringData7-Click the "txt" next to the Name and Type HDT Havok Path(Dont know if it matters wat you write)8-clikc the "txt" next to the string data and type Data/SKSE/Plugins/*name of your xml file*(Or you know rename the file to hdt.xml and put hdt.xml)9Then right click to nistringdata and click copy branch10-right click to ninode and paste branch11-delete the nistring data outside of ninode12-save and overwetire the old file (I recommend copying the orgianl file to somewhere safe) Above technique is not discored by me all i did is ensure it working with MOAfter the steps above:Put your hdt.xml file in to the HDT Physics Extension's plugin folderand you should be done oh and dont forget to download a idle(Download from nexus and install with MO) without it it wont workAnd Sorry if i didnt contributed much to the loverslab community i'm not a modder i just fiddle with what i need to fiddle
Budroi Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Ive had no problems with Collision and MO personally but... here is a pro-tip to shorten the process slightly. Instead of right click > block > insert, blah blah right click on NiNode then click Node > add extra data then select NiStringExtraData doing it this way you wont have to copy and paste branch. This method adds it directly to the NiNode. still need to click the [txt] buttons and add the values obviously. this just save a minute of work. I made a picture to show exactly where buttons are.
chajapa Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 If the head gets built with morphs you may not get HDT physics working with it. I have some custom races that work fine with HDT Havok Path info in the head nif. And others that only seem to work if I put it in their hands. So those don't wear gloves. Using MO, HDT Body 1.3, HDT Physics working on all vanilla and custom characters at this point. And I just started with MO yesterday so I'm no expert by any means.
