How do you defeat the Megloceros?

Sorry if I sound a bit thick, but I've been stuck on this for ages now.  I'm supposed to fire 4 arrows at it, but I just cannot see it anywhere.  The only clue I have is that I'm apparently supposed to hit it when I'm not looking at it.

 

What exactly do I shoot at?  It's makin' me crazy!

Did you do the training part where you had to hit the 4 targets with the 4 arrows and then the one guy will lead the animal around and you have to try to shoot it?
