saizetsu Posted July 5, 2014 Author Posted July 5, 2014 Well A bunch of the mods became masters for the merged patch. esps and esms, not sure if I need to remove them or not. but it tripped out and said it was missing it's masters.
nyaalich Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Go back to the Skyrim Nexus page where you got the script for FNVEdit and watch the guy's video.
saizetsu Posted July 5, 2014 Author Posted July 5, 2014 Well I have it working, now it's just boiling down to a mod specific issue. To which the author is slow to reply. Thank you for all the help.
saizetsu Posted July 6, 2014 Author Posted July 6, 2014 ANd sorry for the double post but now without any mod changes I have a bug where it keeps clicking rapidly in the pipboy weapons menu and only in that menu. Like I hae an auto clicker running.
Guest Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 There was another person having a similar issue, it was the Weapon Mod Menu causing it. If you have it in your LO you could try to check if it is the cause
saizetsu Posted July 6, 2014 Author Posted July 6, 2014 Yes it is the weapon mod menu that causes the clicking. no idea how to reinstall it and not have it click endlessly or say it's missing it's files. Removing it fixes the issue i have but having it on and installed screws it up and makes it click alot. No install instructions or reports of this to help solve the issue for what it is fighting with.
Guest Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 It's the only case I heard that issue, that user solved simply un-ticking the esp and not using it anymore. Maybe it would deserve to communicate it at the weapon menu modder or at least check if there's some compatibility patch around or some known issue with this "auto-click" thing
RitualClarity Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I use FOMM's BSA creation tool. Open the folder of th mod I want to create the BSA. Move the Textures and Meshes over to another folder., Use the tool and direct it to this folder ( when opened you only see meshes and Textures) Use the built in compression of 80% usually. When Bsa created I name the BSA the exact same name as the esp or esm it is created from. If there are more than one BSA ( as in the creation of BSA's for SCR resources) I use the modname - resource name. for example Sexoutcommonresources - MantisArmor, Sexoutcommonresources - raiderchains. You get the idea. Yes sound can be covered however under some strange reasons when combined with esp's or esp's that have been flagged as a master the sound files ( speech) don't quite work properly and sometimes aren't available in game. Experiment if you want. You can always return to a backup or extract the files again as they hadn't been " optimized" or altered. This does seem to make a difference with large amounts of files for mods added to my game stability wise.
