Freezing during imperial fort siege quests? (CWFortSiegeFort)

I've been struggling with this to the point of starting Season Unending just to bypass the Dawnstar fort siege, but then i had to re-take the Reach and the issue crept back up...

The freezing happens randomly, but typically when the "defeat the enemy (x%)" update messages pop up. Music and sound effects continue playing,  and also staying outside the castle seems to reduce the likelihood of freezing.

Other civil war quests, such as the rescue ones, all proceed smoothly. Deactivating mods doesn't seem to work or perhaps im just deactivating the wrong ones.

So far the only consistent entry i've found towards the end of my papyrus logs has been this one:

RNPC: Periodic update check.
[06/26/2014 - 05:44:34AM] Error: Cannot call Disable() on a None object, aborting function call
stack:

If i find no way to fix this, ill just try to make a mod to remake these quests entirely, but i dunno how to go about doing it :/ I'm not even sure if this is a scripting issue or something else entirely :s

Any help would be much appreciated :)

The RNPC update check is for Immersive NPC's, I believe.  I see that in my papyrus log every now and then after a crash, but it's not something I worry about.  The actual error message below that is for the next line in your log:

[06/26/2014 - 05:44:34AM] Error: Cannot call Disable() on a None object, aborting function call
stack:
    [ (00076C68)].StockadeBarricade01ActivatorScript.OnDestructionStageChanged() - "StockadeBarricade01ActivatorScript.psc" Line 44

While it may not be the cause of the crash, I'd see if going up to those spikey wooden barricades that are often at the front of seige forts and start bashing and see if you CTD or freeze up when they're destroyed.

I did, i can usually destroy them with no problems, the freezing seems unrelated to whether i do so or not...

I used to think they were the problem too since they swamped my logs the last time i dealt with this; however, in this fort they haven't been appearing nearly as much, in fact i think that was the first time i saw them after freezing in this fort.

Fixed :D

IN case someone ever gets the same problem, removing sexlab fixed my issue... It seems too many scripts were running during that mission, easing the load on papyrus should fix it.
