TheTraveler Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 I have BSAopt. How do I go about editing the meshes of a follower I downloaded if that follower is in BSA format? Its only for personal use. I'm not going to upload it or anything.
dashipper Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 You can use BSAopt to browse for and unpack the meshes you want to edit (mine defaults to placing them in the "out" folder on my desktop). You can then put them into your skyrim directory wherever they need to go and replace them with whatever you want. When using BSAopt I'd click "show recursive" on the highest expanded folder and click the red X to deselect everything and then recheck only what you want to unpack.
TheTraveler Posted June 26, 2014 Author Posted June 26, 2014 That much I figured out. But do I need to repack the changed meshes into the BSA again or can I just put the folders into the data folder? I would assume the esp would be pointing to the BSA and not the individual folders.
Veladarius Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 You can put them in the folders, anything there will override a bsa.
