Desiree42 Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 So before anyone asks, yes I'm using a mod organizer and TES5edit. My game still crashes(to desk top) before I get past the load screen when choose to load the game. It crashes straight to the desktop. So I was wondering if anyone can point out any incompatiable mods or correct the load order if Loot got it wrong or missed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Nightmyste Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 try putting skyui immediatly after the unofficial patches at the start of your load order, it might just Work as there are several mods here that have a dependency on the MCM features, also you might need to move the Schlongs of skyrim esp file before any other SOS esp's; however i'm not sure if this is all you need to solve the problem, if it still doesn't Work then the easiest way is to unload all mods and slowly add them Again until the CTD happens Again then that mod will probably be the problem, good luck
Desiree42 Posted June 25, 2014 Author Posted June 25, 2014 I tried moving SkyUI and it didn't work. The SOS files are Sounds of Skyrim mods not any of the mods found here. I've already tried the last method, twice, and it didn't help. I also did a clean install of Skyrim, and used different save files(in case the save was corrupted) Thanks anyway.
Androktone Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Why do you use both "Amazing Follower Tweaks" and "Ultimate Follower Overhaul"?
Desiree42 Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 Why do you use both "Amazing Follower Tweaks" and "Ultimate Follower Overhaul"? They both do different things. UFO: allows more followers, poses, dance, better dialog, removes level cap, marriage, etc. Amazing Follwers, allow riding for followers, home assignment, teleporting, ignore friendly fire,
Desiree42 Posted June 28, 2014 Author Posted June 28, 2014 What version of Mod Organizer are you using? I'm using NMM. I couldn't get Mod Organier to work.
Desiree42 Posted June 29, 2014 Author Posted June 29, 2014 Now it's crashing during the Besthesda logo
dashipper Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 I would check to see if you're missing a master file. Missing a master would cause the beth logo CTD. Missing a master that is required by the savegame in question would cause it to CTD when trying to load that save. The best way to check (at least for me since I don't know of another good way to do it) is to use Wrye Bash. Esps that are missing a master will be flagged red. You can also us it to see what files are required by individual saves to see what mods might be missing.

Okay doing what you suggested worked on getting me pass the bethesda screen and let me actually get into game. Now the only problem is when the animations try to start, or when I use the erection spell from SexLab aroused.
dashipper Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 What is the problem, exactly? If using the animations just results in the character standing there like a brick with their arms and legs apart, be sure to run the fnis tool for in skyrim\data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\

It does that when I try to use the erection:target spell too.
dashipper Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Hmm. Make sure the skeletons you are using have bones for the genitals. If the game tries to manipulate a bone node that doesn't exist in the skeleton, it crashes.

Morferous Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Sadly, you have misunderstood how UFO and AFT work. They are both follower mods and should not be used together. Select either one of them. (UFO allows you to ride, but I stronlgy suggest Convenient Horses to that purpose. UFO horses can be disabled by talking to Skulvar at Whiterun Stable.) Run LOOT - the successor of BOSS - to sort our load order - >Select Sort Plugins and Apply. It inspects the Parent/Child (or master) relations between mods and is currently considered the easiest one to use. We always ask to see the summary in Steam forums, if there is a hassle going on. LOOT will open Summary window, afterit is done. From there you will find the Number of Errors, if they exists. These would be the ones crahsing your game. You can find what is causing them or missing from Details section Summary window. https://loot.github..../loot.github.io

Morferous Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Make sure that you do not have any old patch files floating around your load order. LOOT, WryeBash and even TES5Edit can sometimes jump over them. I have no idea why they do not detect them. It you don't then this is likely not a mod issue. Have you tried to verify your files? It is a fast process. Other things that come to my mind are well known memory bugs of Skyrim, but I don't think it is wise - or nice - to go trough installing them, if it is not needed. Validating game files - Exit Steam - Go to your Steam folder and remove folder named appcache. Don't worry about missing a folder. Steam will create new one later. - Go to your (My)Documents > My Games > Skyrim. Remove files Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini from the folder. Do not delete them, before Skyrim has properly created new files later. - Close your computer. - Start your computer - Start Steam. It will now inspect your games for a new appcache folder. - Go to Steam client Library view - Right-click the link to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and select Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache. - 1 files will always fail to validate. It is related to how Skyrim and Steam detect your graphic card and does not have any effect to your game. - Launch the game. New Skyrim.ini is created, when Skyrim detects your hardware. New SkryimPrefs.ini is created when Skyrim detexts your ingame settings.

Since I wanted to make sure the fix worked before I started a new game, I downloaded a saved game from the nexus. Didn't work, and game file was corrupted. I tried multiple files and the save kept getting corrupted. Any idea how to fix that? That may be what the problem is.
Morferous Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 The validation process does not touch save files. They should be perfectly safe. Does the load actually say that save was corrputed, or were you just unable to get it load? And why did you load a game from Nexus, instead of starting a new one yourself?

Yeah the loads actually say they were corrupted. I got them off nexus, because it's easier to test what's wrong with the game and see if it will still crash.
