Editing an NPC : CK , ECE & CME

HELLO GUYS! I'm very sorry there might be about a thousand topics related to import problems with CK and the ECE plus CME, sadly I swam through the posts and I can't find a concrete answer or solution, yes I've followed the instructions on previews topics. I went through all the steps (I believe) , I begin by creating my character with ECE, save the .npc through the SPF command.

I then proceed to CK, load Skyrim.esm and save it. Afterwards I check the recently created esp plus CME, ECE and in this case Apachii Hair . I go on and find the NPC I wish to edit. (Aela) .

I hit the Reset All button, and change the nose to type / 35 / , yes type 35, perhaps this is my error, according to all guides it's in the nose type 32, but I checked Gameplay -> Settings - and in here it's marked as type 35, if I switch the value to the nose (say 32 since it's the one being guided) when I play I get an in-game error message from ECE and effectively my character resets to vanilla appearance.

Anyway after selecting nose 35, I do certain edits such as hair, hair color, eye color and then close that tab. After closing I select the NPC i just edited and hit Ctrl + F4 , after I get the message it's "Done" I check the mod in my Mod Manager, play , and when I meet the recently edited NPC, she does have few edits but still nothing like my save file, I mean she still has plenty of vanilla features PLUS errors.

These errors would be mainly a forehead changed to red or the head skin color not matching the body, etc.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If I can't get a helpful and more detailed guide on how to work this out, I guess that would be alright, after all, developing mods is not for everyone, yet I'd love it if someone would like to take care of the task of making my character a follower, if someone is willing to do so, let me know through comment or message so I can send you the needed files for you to make the follower.

actually, from my experience you just need to check your new esp and set it as active.  (apachii should be already set as a master using tes5edit before hand so that it loads, if you intend to use the hairs for follower)

First go in game and save your character to CME slot 24. This will save your face into nose type 32.
Import your spf in CK, then reset all morpher in Character Gen Morph window and select nose type 32.

If your race only have 31 nose type, go to menu Gameplay -> settings and search for NoseMorph
select iNoseMorphCount and set value to 32.

i'm guessing that nose 35 comes from maybe checking ece/cme, so try it without them selected (unless you have another mod that added more nose types somehow to one of the esp).  after changing setting of inosemorphcount from vanilla default of 31 to 32, then see if you can see nose 32 as an option for the npc.

Thanks mate, that's a start I wasn't saving on slot 24, I'll check on to it and keep this topic updated!

Thanks a lot! After a few Trial & Error attempts I finally got it done. Ran into minor trouble but this is just minor, first the head skin tone didn't match the body, (fixed it with Ctrl + F4 ), then there was a red line covering the follower's forehead (Fixed it by editing the texture with PS) and now I've just had bad times trying to figure out the whole follower thing, it has as Factions : Potential Marriage, Potential Follower, and Actual Follower, and I do have a follower dialogue on her but  she's not following and when I hit "It's time for us to part ways" she just agrees but I keep having the same dialogue as if she was still following me, any clues?
