[Idea - Input please?]SexLab - Purity/Corruption

Recently playing Skyrim - SexLab and all its mod as possible, starting to feel most mod are making sex a beneficial or a one-time punishment.

 

Also as a guy who perfer manga that watching a elf/queen/goddess got corrupted/fallen by the teachings/lust of the humans, here comes an idea.

 

I am starting to make idea since I feel I wish to contribute the modding community after downloading and playing constantly with 200+ mods. (I usually skip graphical mods cause I am using a laptop)

 

So here's also a noob quesition, where can I find guide/documents about papyrus scripting + making mods using SexLab/aroused framework?

 

(Yes I have experience in coding with C# and C++, pretty rookie stuff have to say)

 

 

 

 

A value that determines PC purity/corruption [ 0 = pure , 100 = corrupted]

 

Judged by that value. apply different buffs/debuffs onto the PC. (making PC sex addicted when full corrupted which require sex/rape others to get buffed, a pure PC will losing buffs when having a high aroused value)

 

Aroused Value / Sex activity will contribute to the changing of corruption value, staying in high aroused will corrupt the PC in a slow rate, and Sex with/raped by stranger increase corruption largely.

 

[?] No corruption when masturbate while no one around / Staying as a Virgin

 

[?]Lowing Corruption by staying faithful to the divines

 

[?] no penalty when having sex with spouse

 

[?]Corrupted increase in larger value if the PC is "experienced" in the sex act (value from Sex Diary?)

 

[?] NPC bandits may using poison that trying to capture victims (a new poison that give direct change on aroused value)

 

[???] Losing control on PC when aroused value is high (auto follow any NPC, start sex/rape any NPC around)

 

 

 

 

(Hell, this is going to be really script heavy)

 

(And yes, this idea also comes from PSQ and thanks Ojanen for his great mod, this idea is more like making a mod that is opposite of the PSQ)

 

(Also I am happy if any great modder using these idea on any mods, I will be happily playing it on Skyrim)

Having sexual experience on its own raise corruption might mess with things a little bit.  Unless its only a pittance, characters that just have sex will end up corrupt even if someone's not actually going for that.  Corruption when committing rape makes a good amount of sense.  If there was a mod that let you trick or blackmail people into sex or something I could see that raising corruption, but just having casual sex with consent from both parties doesn't seem especially corrupt.  Oh, raise corruption a little bit when using matchmaker or Zzz since it forces other people to become mindless sex drones!  (Don't actually do that last one, it'd be kind of pointless)

The sexual experience (from Sex Dairy) will not directly add onto corruption but may modify the changes on the corruption value. (More sex experience = more corruption increasing when it is going to increase )

 

 

If corruption is going to become another framework type mod (like aroused), it might be great but personally think aroused can do the job, plus if giving NPC corruption value there's not much element that might depends on it. Unless there's a really great AI.

 

Maybe follower can be corrupted too.

 

 

The act that consider being corrupted:

- Raping or being raped

- Masturbate when being viewed by non-spouse

- Staying high aroused (keep thinking about sex)

- Having Sex with stranger 

 

The act that consider being not corrupted:

- Masturbate alone

- Foreplay with spouse (or sex)

- Staying low aroused (decrease corruption?)

 

The act that consider being pure:

- Complete Quests

- Killing Undead

- Enjoying being alone

 

 

 

Original idea was introducing the Player Character become a goddess/angel whatever. (The corruption value will not apply to the NPC)

 

Buff will be provided when the PC is pure. PC will start losing buff when being aroused or being raped.

 

In the other hand, being high corrupted may provide another kind of buff but require sex activity to maintain.

 

(Paragon vs renegade?)

 

The big question is, what Buff/Benefit will be provided to player when staying pure.

Or what punishment for player who become corrupted. (Require constant sex?)

 

 

Refining these idea, it seems I am trying to make a RolePlay element fit into SexLab.

 

(Let's see how pure/virgin your character can stay in this messy War-teared Skyrim. ) 

 

 

 

Another idea is the corruption apply on followers/captured actors only, and the player can train them into a sex-toy (easy to get sex with + require to sex with you constantly + become your slave)

 

And here goes the dragonborn having a slave army maintained by having sex with them (or with something Devious Device provided)

I think one area that you will run into trouble with is the definition of "corruption". It is a term that means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. So either need to carefully define what you mean by corruption, or need to find a better defined term to describe what it is you are measuring. You have made a start with this by listing a few things that will raise or lower "corruption" but it is far from complete, and has some conflicts with what I would personally consider "corruption" or "pure". Part of the problem is I think the motivation behind an act does a lot to inform if an act is corrupt or not. And that will be something very difficult to code for.

 

But your list, corruption increasing:

raping or being raped: Raping someone else is pretty much a given. Being raped is another matter, are you saying someone can be corrupted against their will? no matter how pure they are something can happen outside of their control that makes them less pure? I can see a potential for rape leading to corruption, as they might get an obsession for revenge that leads them down a dark road. But not everyone would react that way, and I don't see how a mod could force someone to react that way or detect that they are reacting in such a manner.

 

Masturbate in public: Seems more of an exhibitionist thing. Not something I would think belongs on the same scale as rape.

 

Staying highly aroused: Not sure this belongs on the same scale as rape either. Is the idea the longer you are highly aroused, the more likely you are going to loose control of yourself and go rape someone?

 

Sex with Stranger: Again suggests the idea of losing control of yourself. How well do you need to know someone before they don't count as a "stranger" here? How will the mod be able to measure this?

 

 

Things that reverse corruption/promote pureness:

Completing Quests: Even if the quest is for the Dark Brotherhood? How about a quest for Angrim or Captured Dreams?

 

Killing undead: Generally considered a good thing, but unclear how this is on one end of a scale where rape is the opposite end.

 

Enjoying being alone: A mod might be able to detect that you are alone. But how is a mod supposed to know if you are enjoying the solitude, or just feeling lonely.

 

 

In summary, it is a very interesting theme you wish to explore. But since it relies heavily on the internal states and reactions of the main character, I think it would be a poor fit for something as open-ended as Skyrim. In a format like your manga where everything is scripted out, it works well. The main character's personality is a known quantity, it can be matched with events to lead to whatever corruption is desired, with each step following logically from pure to corrupt. But an openended game like skyrim where the player brings their own personality and backstory that you have no view into or control over, it becomes something of a mess. As I sort of allude to, the rules for purity/corruption become just a set of semi-arbitrary rules. Play one way and you get one set of abilities, buffs, and debuffs. Play a different way and you get a separate set of abilities, buffs, and debuffs. Play your own way, and you will probably bounce around the scale randomly.

 

If you really want to do this as a corruption story rather than simply adding certain abilities and debuffs to the game (such as the succubus mod) then I would suggest that the mod  give the player a specific character and backstory. You would need a specific character in mind, because different people react differently, and only one reaction would really lead in the direction of sliding down into corruption. But this might slide in the direction of a total conversion mod to really give you the control to tell this sort of story.

 

If you are just looking at it from the idea of a simple mod that adds some buffs or debuffs  based on behavior, then I suggest starting with how/why these buffs and debuffs manifest. Is the dragonborn special in some way that their sexual history somehow fuels these powers? Or is this something everyone is subject to, and if everyone does get these powers, what does it mean for skyrim? Where do the powers come from? If you can answer these questions, then it will likely be obvious what sorts of puffs and powers go along with being pure or corrupt. If you have no theory or backstory as to why you have these powers, then it is just going to feel random no matter how much thought you try to put into the powers. For example the succubus has a simple theory behind it, a succubus is a demon fueled by sexual energy/acts. Succubus gains demonic powers when they have lots of sex, and lose them again if they don't. If you have a similar theory behind your purity/corruption powers, the theory will suggest what powers would be appropriate. If you have no theory, then nothing will be appropriate, as it will be just random choice.

This was how I learned scripting. That, and a lot of practice, and asking people who knew more about it than I did.

I think corruption is just a term that is handy to use in this case. A more detail break down would be the tolerance, resistance, and pursuance of sexual behaviors.

A more corrupted character will be more tolerance of sex, less resistance against it, and might actively pursuit it.

A less corrupted character will be less tolerance, more resistance, and less likely to pursuit it.

And actions that the PC takes or actions that are taken against the PC will affect it.

 

Of course there could also be the psychological effect of doubling down on resistance in the case of forced sex.

However that could also make it more tolerable since, it happened once already.

But I don't think that's something a mod should be concern with at the moment.

Still, a main point of my post is we need a theory behind how/why characters are being granted buffs/powers from abstaining or overindulging in sexual behaviors. Without such a theory or story to provide direction, it will just feel like some random buffs added for random reasons, because essentially that is what it is. If you have some sort of theory as to the hows and the whys that this happens, then figuring out the buffs and the conditions will be a lot easier.

But would be very much interested in mod that actually affects the character's character...

You had asked for advice, and I have some advice!

 

If you want to get anywhere, you will need to start with something very simple, and you will have to accept some project drift - some things will be much easier to implement than others.

 

If you want to cater to a bigger audience you will probably need to make some things that cater to other people's tastes. If they have conflicting tastes, you will either have to choose between them or give them some kind of configuration thingy.

 

You should expect that you will need help sometimes and that you won't even be able to understand the best help until after you have made efforts yourself. 

 

Initially whatever you do will have lots of things which need attention.

 

Anyways, for this mod I think you will have numbers that you accumulate based on sexlab animations and you might be looking for particle effects you can trigger. You will also have to work out how to pace things. I'm not sure if you will have any story lines to tie into this.

Thanks for all the input and many of you are right, esp. traveller_phi (Thanks!) , direction was given and I have been putting more thoughts on it (while working and eating, lol)

 

The term "corrupted" I was thinking should be more clarify first, and here some ideas:

 

If it is going to be a framework-type-mod:

SexLab Addicted (Thanks afa)

 

 

A mod that track how an actor addicted to sex and pursuit it - including the use of violence and drugs) - If the value have to apply to every and each actors in Skyrim, a really big script mod that apply to shop-inventory (more sex_toy, drugs) , AI_behavior (more attemp to rape instead of swinging a sword) and a semi-global (faction?) value apply to all respawning NPCs. 

Point is the action/influence of the DragonBorn ( a really hot babe that most SexLab user default to)  had been given every NPC of skyrim a boner, just saying.

 

 

 

 

 

If it is going to be RPG (with buffing) mod:            (I was thinking giving buff/debuff so a more appearing change of the Player's character are visible, in terms of psychological) - Thanks  traveller_phi

SexLab - Becoming a Divine/Daedic ( why not? Talos had become one too)

 

DragonBorn was born different, the more dragon souls she have, the farther she are away from being a mortal, well, being a Divine or a Daedic?

 

 

Towards Divine:

Sex with spouse (or not having sex at all)

Using the "Persuade" option

Coin to beggar.

[?]Clearing a dungeon (yeaaaaa including killing all the bandits and beasts that living and protecting their cave? Hmmm....)

 - Buffs on defensive skill/stats.

 

Towards Daedic:

Sex with nameless NPC ( or just not spouse)

Using the "Intimidate" option

Any Crime.

 - Buffs on offensive skill/stats.

 

Well, should this idea being used on SexLab? It is more likely favors aspect in skyrim vanilla other than SexLab...

 

As mentioned by dirtyforeigner . some interaction/track on other SexLab mod (like puppet master) may work, (yet all those are mostly towards Daedic)

 

 

 

If it is going to be a follower/actor influence mod:

SexLab Mind Breaking

Ever think instead of killing a bandit, sometimes you wish to pet it and make it your little slave?

 

 

 

Player had given a new way to interact with their follower/captured actors. Instead of normal sex-and-forgot. This mod aims to giving progression on how the DragonBorn breaking the victim's mind defense and abuse it (yea... more sex option and more blindly following orders)

 

- A follower start with normal vanilla behavior and keep being faithful mule for carrying your burden. Until ...

 

To Start:

Tie a target up and move her to a location (player's house mostly?) - Using Devious Device's asset?

- You may rape the helpless tied up actor, each time count towards mind breaking

 

 

- Casting illusion and fill their mind full of lust.

- Casting conjuration and watch them have sex with a ... well, "creature"

- Casting alteration to finger them in a unthinkable way, or ...a temporary living plug

- Casting destruction to give them pain/burn

- Casting restoration to get them back up (and continue the act)

- Using Alchemy to drug them

- Train lock-picking or pickpocket with their hole

- Train one-handed with punching, two-handed with a stick, block with slapping them, archery with shooting arrows with healing potion onto them

- Misdirect them with Speech (violence sex talk?)

- Understand more about armors when tearing down their outfits, or dressing them up with different outfits

 

 

 

Stage 1: Rejecting (Let's get this started)

= Victim will attempt to escape/retaliate  and resist your action , may curse you in dialogue,  or beg you to release them

 

Stage 2: Numbness (Getting there)

= Victim starting to have lesser defense against the action and lesser attempts on escape/retaliate. In dialogue...don't think they are able to say anything other than moan and yell.

 

Stage 3: Compliance (I think you can stop the violence now)

= Victim doesn't required to be tied up and no resist on any action now, will follow your orders and help you fighting, still can talk in a sensible dialogue, and yea they will call you Master.

 

Stage 4: Crazed (That's over mind breaking)

= Victim's mind is broken, unable to follow and help you fight or even have any responses towards dialogue, the only thing they mention is sex.

 

Stage 5: Broken (Mind ...blown?)

= Victim is just merely a shell now, no dialogue or any action from them, the only thing players can do is raping the motionless body, training skills with them and preventing they die.

 

Stage 6: Dead (Are you into Necro?)

= Yes Victim is just a dead body and the only thing you can do is ... continue raping it, if you wish to, turn them into ash pile so their soul can be released

 

Stage 7: Afterlife (Shouldn't it end already?)

= Victim's soul is bounded towards the player and can be summoned for fighting...and having sex

(is it possible to create a ghostly version of a mod-added follower? by script?)

 

 

 

 

I will wait and see what you guys ideas about these, and I should make some attempts on "Hello World" in Skyrim. 

 

If there're some great mod creator wish to use some of the ideas here feel free to use them, looking foward to play them really.

I agree that my idea was started too big for my experience in Skyrim modding, I am taking some time on doing small functions that can be trigger in Skyrim. (Learning the simple vanilla thing first)

 

Thanks for the directions and I will take times on refining the ideas before starting it. Eventually I think I will focus on one or two features that quite fit into a certain taste on other players which have not yet to be introduce in SexLab.

 

Looking back the past of myself in this post, yea I am moron and I should have some plans.

Addicted, Becoming a Divine/Daedra and Mindbreak all sound pretty cool, though I'm most interested in the last one for now.

 

Apart from that, I can't do any better than Sen4mi in terms of advice.

 

Slowly build from utmost simplicity, but still expect trainwrecks.
