Zexan Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Anyone know of any mods that have a teddy bear backpack? I'm using some power armor I've modded in my game, but it feels like it's missing something, so I want to add a teddy bear backpack onto it with blender, but I haven't got into weight painting and UV mapping and all that, so I need to find a pre-maid backpack. So can anyone point me in the direction of a mod that has one?
nyaalich Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 I don't know, but the idea of someone wearing power armor with a teddy bear backpack makes me want to hug that person. X D  I know that there are teddy bear backpack mods in other TES games. If the permissions are okay, perhaps you can adjust it in Blender? Gerra has some stuff to assist with the conversion process in the Modder's Resources forum (the forum has the word "modder" in it, anyway ).
Zexan Posted June 15, 2014 Author Posted June 15, 2014 I don't know, but the idea of someone wearing power armor with a teddy bear backpack makes me want to hug that person. X D  I agree =) , but hugging someone in power armor would just feel weird...  I've tried converting from Skyrim to Fallout a while ago, but couldn't get it working after a few hours trying. I guess If no one knows of anything, I may have to give it a try again, but, ugh...   Can't you just use nifskope for this?  Possibly, but I'd still have to find a .nif with a backpack to use
maybenexttime Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Just grab the teddybear nif and put it with the power armor on the back.  Like for example using this mod... http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/38331/?  than add it to your power armor.  Although you won't be able to reupload it to others.
nyaalich Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 There is a teddy bear in game.  (Blender....nifskope...they have some magical synergy wherein I don't know where one stops and the other starts. I just know that much like lava, I prefer not to be in either.)
Zexan Posted June 15, 2014 Author Posted June 15, 2014 Yeah, I suppose that's what I'll have to do. I'm just dreading trying to learn to do the weight painting that's going to be needed.
maybenexttime Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Nifskope is much easier tool to use if you are just combining meshes. You can rescale and adjust it to where you want by just using nifksope. I am not sure why you would want to get into the hassle of blender when it seems you just want to combine two meshes.
Guest Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Because I guess he wants to wear the teddy bear as a backpack, so he should weight it
