Trouble with the Mod

Hi!

 

I just bought Skyrim and played it little bit. Then I found this site and decided to try out the SexLab Mod. I´ve  downloaded all the files and stuff that should be required and startet the game curiously. But after the Bethesda Logo the game cuts off and I´m back on the Desktop. I guess I did something wrong or some of the Mods dont work together. Is there a possible fix, or do you provide some kind of tutorial to solve the problem? I would really appreciate your anwers and any help I can get.

A crash to desktop after Bethesda intro, is usually a missing dependency. would need to see your load order to track it down.

 

Alternatively if you use Wyre Bash, or Tes5 Edit they will help you track down the missing dependency.

First thing to try since you are new at this is google LOOT and download that, then install it and run it. That will sort your load order. It could be as simple as a bad load order causing your CTD. After you have done that if it is still crashing let us and know and we can move on.

 

I also strongly recommend you go to youtube and look up Gopher, he does a fantastic beginners guide to modding.

Do you have other mods installed?

 

Did you run FNIS, and start the game with SKSE?

 

Are you using a mod manager?

 

Can you provide a load order of your active mods?

 

You either loaded your esp or esm files in the wrong order (one depends on the other, but the "other" is being loaded second), or you are missing a file, and need to find out which mod you are missing (a mod you're using depends on a mod you haven't installed). TES5Edit is perfect for that. Tells you exactly what the problem is.
