Hentai-chan Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 So last time I had Skyrim, I couldn't install SkyUI through MO because it said 'SKSE not detected or installed properly'. I want to ask if someone managed to install SkyUI through MO and how they did it. Â DISCLAIMER: I don't have Skyrim installed currently. So I can't try any of your suggestions at this point. I just want to know if anyone managed to do what I asked so I might perhaps try it myself.
gvman3670 Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Just install it through MO and ignore the warning. As long as you know SKSE is installed properly then you can ignore the warning altogether. It will still function.
lidowxxx Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Gvman is right, it's false alarm actually, SKYUI isn't known to be friendly with MO, just ignore the message and install it like any other mods.
Akzyra Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 For explanation: The Installer of SkyUI checks if SKSE is in the game directory, but because you use MO the mods don't go into the game dir. Thus it cannot find SKSE. Same can happen for other mods that check the data folder for mods.
