Dawnguard Sentries Feedback?

OK, yes, I am hoping to promote some interest in my mod also, but getting a bit of feedback on it is my main goal. :P   The mod is only on Steam at this point.  I want to develop it a little further before I release it elsewhere.

What the mod does is add Dawnguard vampire hunters to the hold capitals and a few of the larger villages like Riverwood.  They break up vampire attacks and help keep NPCs alive.  I felt this was less of a cheat and more immersive than simply making all NPCs essential like several mods do.  On a personal note, I also got sick of intervening in vampire attacks, having a guard jump in front of me and get hit, then trying to fine me after the attack.  I still help, but I can let the Sentries do more of the work.

The sentries will help with dragon attacks also, and assist town members or the guard if a crime is committed.  For those with modding experience, they have a fairly basic AI.  They're Dawnguard members and also included in their local town faction, and are set to Aggressive and "Will assist friends and allies".  The only other change I really made there was to add the vanilla vampires to the Dawnguard faction enemy list.

Rambling aside, one of the main things I'd like feedback on is making the Sentries essential vs simply a respawn.  Initially I had them set as essential so that the town wasn't left without extra protection while they're waiting to respawn.  This apparently is making it rough for Harkon Faction players though.  Currently I have the hold capital sentries set to essential and the ones in Riverwood, Dragon Bridge, Ivarstead and Shor's Stone set to respawn, and was hoping to get some feedback from the steam community on which works better for them.

No luck there thus far however.  The steam community generally seems to DL it and forget it.

OH, and yes I'm also aware of the 'When Vampires Attack' and 'Run For Your Lives' mods.  This mod is intended to help protect the NPCs that are too pig headed to hide with those mods installed (Adrianna Avanicci and Alvor for example).  It works great in combination with those two mods. :)

Adrianne Avenicci runs on her house in my game and such Alvor. And i'm using "Run for your lives" + "When vampires attacks". Are youn using mods such "Populate towns and Cities" ?

I'm using both Run for Your Lives and When Vampires attack, but no other real town modification mods.

Adrianna and Alvor both come out swinging during vampire attacks in my game, at least if they're outside and in the immediate vicinity.  I get mixed reports from people on how they react with the mods installed.  Some folks get what I do where blacksmiths and a few others like Companions members will still attack Vamps & Dragons, others have everybody run for cover.  I'd guess there's another mod somewhere tweaking AIs.  *shrug*

Populate Towns and Cities and other such mods...  Nope.  We all know Tamriel in general and Skyrim specifically are supposed to be much bigger than they are in game.  My time playing Arena left me with the impression that Tamriel was supposed to be AT LEAST as big as the UK, and probably closer to the size of Australia.  Skyrim might as well be Monaco though.

Meh I'm getting off topic.  Point is I'm playing with the game environment we're given.  It wouldn't make sense to me to see a 4 house village with 300 people in it.  Exaggeration but you get the point.  Also doesn't help that I have a lower end graphics card either, lol
