Motion number 4 with .kf file 8 is missing

I get this error when loading. Clean install everything working. Added Resource Pack then .91 and I get this error on load with both saved game and new game.

 

Nothing obvious in oblivion.ini, and too many files in the ini folder to want to try to figure it out without asking first.

 

Anyone else had this error? Is it a typo in an .ini or did I miss something in a readme?

Go to this folder:

Oblivion\Data\meshes\characters\_male\Idleanims\ani2\

You should have many .kf files here. Look at motion 04 and see if you have all eight. Their names are:

04_DefMotionx0.kf

04_DefMotionx1.kf

04_DefMotionx2.kf

04_DefMotionx3.kf

04_OffMotionx0.kf

04_OffMotionx1.kf

04_OffMotionx2.kf

04_OffMotionx3.kf

Which one are you missing?

All of them. There are no animations lower than 10_ in that folder.

Animations from 1~10 are essential without them none of the animations will work properly.

Just re-download the core files make sure you extracted files properly.

I've been having the same issue. These files appear to be missing from the ani2 archive in the resource link that is provided.

 

Is there an alternative place to download these?

yes your right, seem resource pack only contain the creature animation starting from 201 to 243. it is missing allot of files. Try downloading lovers with pk archive from Prophour http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=4446 . or my older link: http://www.mediafire.com/?4m046m95mi4fig8 if mediafire still excist.

 

 

Seem both resouce pack and lovers wih pk rev 91 is missing vital parts. because of this there is no 1 to 9. it starts from 10 to above.

Dropped the files you provided into their respective ini and ani2 folders and was still getting a similar error as OP when loading a new game.

 

 

Also getting this error when initiating sex.

 

 

What's missing from the pk rev 91 file?

did you make sure it exracted in the right folder ?? i have packed in ini already so you only need to extract in oblivion\data or else it will make oblivion\data\ini\ini

 

check your ini and ani folder that the files are really in there.And not within a new subdirectory.

Yes, I placed the folders in my data folder and merged them

 

Somehow I ended up having a characters folder outside of meshes. Chucked everything into the right folder and I'm starting to get animations now, I just have to find the BBB ones

Go to post 6 and download that zip file there. Extract to a temp location and place the files where they belong. Overwrite if necessary.

I get a similar message, but it says it's missing 200. I see 200 in the ini folder, but it doesn't seem to react. I've tried reinstalling and uninstalling, but I make no type of progress. Is there something I'm missing with the placement of the files? I also get the missing animation messages (1-10), even though I clearly see them. Kinda new to modding, but I can get basic ones to work just fine.

If it says the same message it means you are missing the kf files and not the ini. Reinstall the resources pack (or optionally pull out the 8 kf files named 200 and put them in the following location: oblivion\data\Meshes\Characters\_male\Idleanims\ani2\ and you will be set).

If it says the same message it means you are missing the kf files and not the ini. Reinstall the resources pack (or optionally pull out the 8 kf files named 200 and put them in the following location: oblivion\data\Meshes\Characters\_male\Idleanims\ani2\ and you will be set).

They appear to be there, they worked just fine until I got Nubsie's refined animations... I can't see what changed in it, but it worked the first time blindly reinstalling and uninstalling so I'll just keep doing that for now. Thanks Gregathit

 

*Edit* I found my problem. Virtual Store moved my files. I was wondering why my collision detection was off and no one could hit me as well. Time to reinstall all my mods again.
