So you know that thing where you open up a .nif file and edit the glossiness and specular properties? Is there a way to set global settings for these two properties to apply to all armors as well? I currently have my bare meshes working great, but it'd be ridiculous to go through every armor .nif and edit the properties for them as well.

I don't think so you pretty much have to do each one manually I believe unlike oblivion which has the glossmax tool on the nexus that has a ini file that you can change the value to what you want and also be able to drop big groups of nifs into it at one time bodies armors outfits anything that has body parts in them. Only thing it doesn't work on is heads as they have something different done to them and they have to be done manually or if there is something wrong with the nif or the body part is labeled wrong instead of labeled skin.

If you use Bodyslide and compatible armor, there's probably a way to apply it to all of them through body-slide. I don't know exactly how, but judging by the way bodyslide works, it should be possible.

If not, then manually is the only way.
