Bushvv00kie Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 I created couple of clothing parts and ported it into skyrim. Here is the problem. All looks ok Zoom out Not ok, those see through body red spots. Another exaple Different angle I have no idea what to do, i`ve tried to uninstall enb, adjust enb.ini, adjust bslightingshader property, redo textures. Nothing changed. test.rar
myuhinny Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 The bottom 2 look like clipping to me if you are talking about the panties showing through the shirt. To fix that load up the outfit into nifskope make a copy if the nif just in case. Right click the part that is clipping go to transform - scale vertices you will get this. the X tweaks the vertices outward on the sides the Y tweaks the front and back outwards. The number is always 1.0000 Never change number 1 unless you like the staypuff marshmallow man because the outfit will go poof and be that big. I usually tweak the 2nd 0 after the . start small with 1 or 2 you can always reload or paste the copy back in if you make a mistake. Play around with it and see how each one changes the outfit. The first 0 after the . does the biggest change 2nd 0 smaller and so on. Make sure to remember what number to used to tweak the one thing as you will have to look and tweak anything that is attached to it that has a gap or is clipping is tweaked with the same number so it all matches again.
lostdaywalker Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 It sure as heck looks like clipping, but upon further inspection of you images, I think I know what it is. In the first two pictures, it shows up as you pan the camera back. In the second two pictures, pose is the same but camera angle is different. Spots change size as the camera pans around object. You ported them into Skyrim. I believe this is "Bone Affect Limit". (Too many bones pulling on a vertex.) I only know 3DsMax, if you used blender, it should have a comparable feature somewhere. In 3ds, on your skin modifier, expand Advance Parameters and change Bone Affect Limit to 4.
Bushvv00kie Posted May 27, 2014 Author Posted May 27, 2014 Ty for advice walker i`ll try it. So do i have to redo weightpainting with that bone affect limit set to 4 or just change this property on existing skin modifier? And this problem only occurs around pelvis area of a body. Upper part of shirt or stockings/bracers working allright with default 3ds bone affect property.
lostdaywalker Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 No you should not have too. Always change that to 4. It works for 99% of everything I have ever done. Only once did I have to go to 3. If you zoom out in Nifskope you can even see it there. It almost like part of the mesh is floating inside the mesh rotating and changing shape with the camera.
Bushvv00kie Posted May 27, 2014 Author Posted May 27, 2014 Omg it worked, thank you very much walker! I have to fix some verticies cause weightpaint went wrong in some places but it`s all ok, no more those damn floating transparent spots.
