jpeters Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 any one tested if stream play form steam can run the adult mods or not
Ashra XIII Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 One guy did a let's play of Skyrim with adult mods, though it seemed more as a joke. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNze6sWdgcY I guess if you're asking whether it works at all, I guess the answer is 'yes'. I'm just not sure if that's what you actually meant.
Advint Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 If your talking about the Steam in home streaming, I don't see why not. It clearly says that the game is played on one PC and the output is simply viewed on the other.
xgkf Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 I guess the question would be how to set it up so that Steam's in-client launcher would launch the game through MO or NMM or SKSE or whatever.
HellkittyAnarchy Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Of course it can. However, you will need to replace the skyrim launcher at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\SkyrimLauncher with SKSE by deleting the launcher then renaming the SKSE_loader to SkyrimLauncher.
tonicwalter Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 I'm playing Skyrim through steam and there's no problem. It's true that you'll need to install SKSE (and Mod Organizer if you're into that) - the shortcut on the desktop will directly start Skyrim if the steam client is running in the background.
xgkf Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 He's not talking about playing it through Steam/with Steam running/etc. He's talking about being able to play it (with all of his mods as well) through Steams knew "In-Home Streaming" feature, which lets you - for example - play a game on your crappy laptop over your home network while sitting comfortably on your couch with the game itself actually running on the beefier PC that its installed on.
