EDIT: I talked to the author and Goubo has planned support for Death Alternative 4.50 in the next update of Defeat!
So for now I will wait.

 

 

So currently almost any mob can insta-kill me and or kill me quickly enough I do not go down.

How would I fix this?

 

I know that submit has a anti-death, how would I utilize this in defeat?

I would like to keep defeat because it does what I want.

I have tried to make it work in CK however haven't figured it out.

 

I have tried:

Player Knockdown: Didn't work
A set essential mod: Didn't work

 

What works:
tim: works but isn't very lore firendly. If an enemy can't fuck me it is weird.

 

Another Q:

Would it be possible to add in submits thing?
I just don't like being tied down ect.

I don't know if it's an acceptable practice, but have you tried entering tig in the console?

 

It makes you unkillable but your health still depletes

Well, Defeat doesn't have any sort of anti death feature. The only thing you can do game wise is give yourself more health or some armor, and raise the activation value to a point where you won't die if you get hit twice.

As far as editing it in CK, I don't know, seems a bit risky to be messing with the scripting.

That would make me completely invincible, so things that can't have sex can't kill me.

Yea changing your load order isn't going to do anything. Because that player knockout mod is activating its feature to prevent death, as apposed to Defeat activating its feature to down, and subsequently have creatures ravage your character. Like I had said earlier your going to need to make it so you survive being hit to activate Defeat, otherwise it won't work. Because in defeat you can still die if a creature has you at a very low health and your poisoned, before the creature activates its 'scene' on you.

Although I could certainly be wrong, if the person earlier said it works for them, then maybe they found a way. Is defeat before or after the player knockout mod, in your load order. If its before its possible that its scripting will be triggered before the knockout mods timer ends.

I have found that defeat has been a little buggy since sl framework 1.5 came out, even after the mod upgrade.  I have needed to use the cleanup function a lot.  It does work properly though if you do this.

If you are getting kill too quickly there's little Defeat can do in that aspect.

Submit has a preventing death function but the last time I try it won't link to Defeat getting trigger.

 

tim (toggle immortal mode) might be what you want to try, it sort of works before the big updates, but find someway to disable kill moves or else you'll get some weird animation issue.

it has some bleedout function when you would die normally and then you get knocked down and thrown out. (or other events can happen... think sanguine debauchy uses it too now) (and after bleedout/throw out you need to recover first or you still end up dieing. think it also has a menu option to adjust how high damage you must get hit by while in bleedout to still die from the hit.)

 

not too sure if defeat can trigger in bleedout of death alternative though and if it does it might get wonky as both try to do their animations.

 

maybe if you set bleedout to start at i.e. 10% health, not play and ragdoll/bleedout animations and give defeat a setting of 15% health and 100% on hit chance or so. i dont know.. maybe some combination works for what you want it to do.

you can also edit in the menu how much damage you then take in bleedout mode if the enemies just do way to much damage then.

Same problem with the other mods it makes it so defeat can't detect the damage / hits.

Rather than all of the other suggestions why don't you get some better armor so they can't easily kill you? Or you could advance your player to get more hit points so the first swipe they take at you doesn't take all of your hit points.

 

The mod isn't meant to allow you to have sex with everyone at level 1 and naked, if you're getting killed instantly you need to develop your character.
