DeltaD36 Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014   I seem to have an issue with my current ENB set up after I tried to use a new one. After the new one didn't work/run/look that well, I decided to go back to my older one Via ENB Manager. Afterwards, I started getting these green/red lines around the edge of my screen and a green pause screen when looking at a direct light source and pausing.    Now I don't know what's causing it, but I have deleted the previous ENB's Files, or rather got rid of the ENB in the Manager and just re-enabled my older one. Any one have any ideas as to why? I use Zoner's High Performance ENB.    A potential piece might have had something to do with me using the Realistc Lightning Addon patch thing. But I got rid of that and the addon. But I do find it strange that my Realistic Lighting .ESPs  (the two that are not the addon) have dissapeared. Weird thing i that getting rid of the Addon and patcher didn't help either.  The Green and Red lines don't seem to actually show up on screenshots, but the Green screen does.  Screenshot of the issue:    Â
DeltaD36 Posted May 30, 2014 Author Posted May 30, 2014 Rebumbing. Does anyone know anything about this issue?
Sailing Rebel Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 I have seen a similar issue in the past. Not exactly the same, just some odd shading and glitches in the escape menu. Â What I did was completely uninstall RealVision using the uninstall.bat and removed the separate ENBSeries files (d3d9.dll and enbhost.exe) before reinstalling. RealVision creates a whole bunch of files in the Skyrim folder, without using the uninstaller the old versions might be interfere with a later install. Â I've only used RealVision so I can't say what would need to be done for others but I assume they require a similar procedure.

Unfortunately, the ENB Mod I use (agian, Zoners High Performance ENB; which I tried to upgrade to the unofficial V2 version) did not come with Installer or uninstaller files, and had to be used manually. Zoners ENB was rather small and only edited added the files needed into the main Skyrim directory. But I fear that the other ENB I tried to install may have added a lot of extra files. I'll likely have to go through that specific ENB and delete files that are still there. But what I fear is that I will be deleting files that are essestial for Skyrim. I have not started the look through process since I was waiting for a reply.     I am not sure if this is a related issue but during loading screens (near the end of the loading screen rather) the top and left sides of the screens don't seem to be covered by the loading screen, as if the loading screen looks off centered. I can't really explain it any better than that sense the issue does not show up in screenshots for some reaosn. But the Red and green boarder lines show up in the exact same spots while in game with the ENB on.Â
DeltaD36 Posted May 31, 2014 Author Posted May 31, 2014 Hmm. Got rid (at least I think I did) of the files that were accosiated with the one ENB that didn't work. Still having the issue though. :/
nutluck Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Honestly I have never seen nor ever heard of anything like that, so i have no clue at all what could be the issue or what would fix it. My only guess is, it has to be something related to the ENB. Perhaps you missed one or you made changes to the ini file for the ENB or it added a file you don't recognize as part of the ENB? Don't know but just don't see what else would cause it.
DeltaD36 Posted May 31, 2014 Author Posted May 31, 2014 Ahhhh fixed it. I'm not sure what I did, but I took any files that looked like ENB files out of my Main directory nd stowed them somewhere else. Put in a preset I had save a long time ago and the issue is gone. ^^
nutluck Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Well looks like it was something in the ENB then, glad you got it working.
