Doge22 Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 I recently installed seveNbase Bombshell and every time my character has to show skin, the game crashes. I can't equip the main body piece in an armor set if it shows skin without it crashing, even though I can equip the gloves boots and helmet. I experimented a bit and realised that it crashes if I try to take off my clothes, but I can wear full-on robes. I've been struggling with this for three days now, and I can't understand why it's happening. I uninstalled and reinstalled everything, literally. The only other appearance mods I have are: -ApachiiSkyHair -Ethereal Elven Overhaul -Realistic Ragdolls And Force -Pretty female Idles style 02 -SG female texture renewal UNP -UNP base main body (I don't think this has anything to do with the problem since I installed it out of pure desperation after three days) -XP32 Maximum Skeleton -and some 7b compatible armor sets My other mods aren't character related (companion pets, magic spells, new quests and environment modifiers) Thank you in advance for the help!
Zagiel Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 i'm not sure it's related but I had kinda similar problem and it went away when i replaced SG textures (tho in my prev install they worked fine)

gvman3670 Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Whenever something like that has happened to me it's always been a problem with something overwriting my skeleton. It just happened to me again today when I started a new MO profile/character. If I tried to use the bed or disrobe it would CTD instantly. So I checked Mod Organizer and it said Realistic Ragdoll was overwriting something in my skeleton. I changed priority so the skeleton wasn't overwritten and it worked fine afterward. I'd suggest reinstalling your XPMS skeleton and letting it overwrite everything if you're using NMM or manually installing. Or if you're using Mod Organizer just move it lower in the list in the left pane.

That is exactly what I was going to ask. You have to run that everytime you install a new body, armor with BBP/TBBP or anything that has to do with meshes for the most part.

Didn't work. - I tried changing the priority order multiples times. Didn't work. - I did run FNIS after installing everything, and then I tried without it. Didn't work. I feel like the computer gods have punished me for something...
nutluck Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Next two things I would suggest. Is copy and paste your FNIS output after running it. Maybe we can spot something. Second set up papyrus and create a log. Save it right before a spot you know this happens. Log off then back onto skyrim at that saved spot, do it to cause the issue. Then log off. You should then have a papyrus log only showing that short play and hopefully it will have a clue as to the cause.

After checking it myself, it seems some of my other mods have problems.... even though they're working fine and I highly doubt they can interfere. Should I give you guys all of my mods?
gvman3670 Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 When you run FNIS it shows a report. You can copy and paste that into a post here. I still think you're having skeleton issues. Have tried reinstalling your skeleton to be sure it's not overwritten by something else? Because equipping T/BBP armors and not having the body/skeleton functioning will cause CTDs.
nutluck Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 FNIS output is when you run FNIS it gives you a text output. While sevenbase doesn't require FNIS, your skeleton does.

gvman3670 Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 That's the report. It says your Skyrim is not a legal version, but that could be because it's in the wrong directory. And it shows a 99 bone skeleton. The XPMS skeleton has 242 bones so it isn't actually showing up in your game.
nutluck Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 As gvman3670 said the warning is because you either didn't put skyrim in the right folder or because it is a pirated copy. Also as he pointed out that says you are using the default vanilla skyrim skeleton. Which means since you said you installed the xp32 skeleton you messed up installing it somehow and that very well could be the issue.
Doge22 Posted May 14, 2014 Author Posted May 14, 2014 Ugh yeah it's a pirated copy. I hate doing stuff like this but I lost the CD box while moving and can't reinstall it on my new PC. And I guess since I did buy it, it's not a huge deal. Anyway, so should manually installing it fix my problem? I used NMM to install it before so that might've been the problem.
nutluck Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 If you bought the copy and registered it with steam you should be able to download it from steam from the same account you register it with. I have bought games by disk and can now just download them from steam. As for the skeleton NMM should have no issues installing it.

Oh i'm so glad After you told me that it might be installed in the wrong area, I checked and realized the skeleton wasn't even near the same folder as my Skyim mods 0_o. So I manually reinstalled the skeleton and it worked! Thank you so much guys
