Hello, and welcome to the latest idea my deranged mind has cooked up.

 

For a while, I have been wondering why nobody has released a mod for the more domineering people who would rather be the slaver versus the slave. No more, I say! As of today, I have began work on a slavery mod that will do the exact opposite of what many mods for slavery in Skyrim do.

 

At any rate, it will be quite a while before anything tangible is ready, so I thought I would lay out some of the basics that I have been thinking of so far.

 

Right now I'm working more on the idea of the slave already being in your possession. I will work more on capturing the slave later, but for now I'm toying with the idea of just a simple spell that can enslave an actor.

 

First of all, those of you that know me know that I'm all for choice. So I have come up with several ways that the player can "train" their new slave. Will you be a horrible, domineering slaver, that will fuck your poor slave until they can't even think for themselves? Will you treat them so well that they WANT to be your slave? Or perhaps you will be unpredictable, and cause your slave to respect you for fear of your wrath?

 

For now, I'm deliberately keeping things simple so that I can focus more on the concepts of owning the slave. Hence the name, Simple Slavery. More features will be added later on down the road, but the point of my making this thread was to gauge interest in such a mod, and maybe fish for some ideas.

 

(NOTE: No, I'm not cancelling work on SLB. That mod is still my baby, but I need some time to work on other things. I'm at my most productive when my mind can try and conquer multiple problems at once. This will also give me some ideas for handling some scenarios in SLB down the road as well.)

 

Anyways, as always, I look forward to your thoughts, suggestions, and snide remarks (well, maybe not the last one).

Edit: I think it would be the best usage of my time to completely abandon this project. Because others are already working on similar projects, starting on my own wouldn't be worth the effort.

First, it's great to see a project going this way, rather than the much more popular player-as-slave, and done by someone with some modding cred so I can have reasonable hope of the end results seeing the light of day. Consider the topic followed and good luck on your endeavors.

 

Second, while I understand that you don't want to focus on the capture system just yet, I'd strongly suggest to key it off either Submit or Defeat. Submit in particular already has a dialog you can initiate with the subdued NPC starting with a sinister "now, what shall I do with you..." that every time I choose I wish I had the choice to enslave the NPC permanently. In the long run, much funnier than casting a spell.

 

Now, for actual slavery, here's a couple of loose ideas of what I'd like to be able to do with a slave:

 

-Have sex with them, obviously  :cool:

-Order them to have sex with NPCs (I'm fine with NPCs refusing based on morality), possibly also with dogs and horses though this isn't much of a priority to me.

-Decide whether they sandbox or not - this was one of the things that pissed me off about Paradise Halls, I leave a naked slavegirl in my home and she casually starts cooking dinner. I want to be able to decide whether what I own is a house slave or a sex slave.

-Punish them - the whip is a classic I'd definitely don't want to miss, but I'd also love to use Devious Devices on them and have them react to it.

-Whore them out - leave a naked slavegirl in the marketplace with a simple order: "earn money for me, bitch".

-Hand them out as gifts to people - if a Jarl posts a bounty on a bandit leader, and the bandit leader happens to be a hot woman, I want to bring her in chains and give her to the Jarl so he can have some fun with her.

-Sell them - straightforward enough.

 

That's just off the top of my head. Again, good luck with your project, I'll make sure to try it when it comes out.

Well, my perfect mod would be à mix between submit, sanguine and puppet master : enslave or be enslaved by combat, do what you want you want with your slave, add pervert plugs or belts, put in a cage, on a cross, in pillory... and let the slave be raped.

Good to see someone is going after player-as-dominator mod. While I don't mind the submissive player mods, I prefer to be the one calling the shots. I just hope this doesn't go the way of the other attempts like Skyrim Slavery System.

 

Honestly, I just really want something like Bravil Underground for Skyrim. That mod was basically the only reason I played Oblivion.

Absolutely. On thing I always wanted in slaver mods for other games was to be able to satisfy "Kill The Bad Girl" quests by putting a collar on the Bad Girl's neck and making sure she never bothered anyone ever again.

 

One more thing it'd be nice to have: some events and/or radiant quest nodes so other modders might hang a quest or two on the framework. Just a thought.

Yeah, PH was good like that, now that you mention it. It tricked the game into considering the slave as being dead somehow. Of course, I could see that having a downside in some cases as well. Still, it'd be a nice feature to have again :)

Problem with this one is It's not that easy to decieve skyrim about killing an npc. If the quest giver wants a dead npc then you need dead npc not enslaved one.

So you would have to either rewrite hell lot of vanila quests - which might be tricky. Or add new quests - which might be better but also quite time consuming.

 

One way to trick skyrim to pass kill npc objective is that when you enslave an npc that npc is cloned - original npc gets killed, corpse get despawned/teleported somewhere, cloned one gets enslaved. A triky one to code but this should work well enough.

 

Dont get me wrong, i'm not complaining. I like your ideas and this one i like the most.

I'm quite sure if you make a mod that includes process of training, breaking a resisting npc into becoming your willing slave you would make alot of ppl around here VERY HAPPY 

 

Turning an proud and arrogant Thalmor Justicar into your personal fuck-toy. Who the hell wouldn't love that  :D

 

Also if that would be your goal try to talk with Heromaster. Those guys are working on a framework that would include exactly that. It might make your life alot easier.

For enslavemwnt mechanics i would just base it on Submit/defeat mods. Additional options available on target that agreed to submit / is in bleeding state.

Haven't had a lot of time for anything lately. Between getting sick on Saturday (and still trying to get over it), and other things taking up my time, I'm not sure how much time I'll be able to put into this. There's also a lot of things I'd like to do, but have no clue how to do so. We'll see. I'd like to make a proof of concept that I could release. It will only have some basic functionality.

 

As for doing a framework, that's way out of my league. Creating something that others could use is for modders with far more skill than I have.

 

*Edit* Also, scaling the amount of slaves beyond one is going to take a lot of work, and is something that I'm not sure I'll even be able to manage.

I'm not saying that you should make a framework but that you could try to use one that is currently being made by someone. Tho its in wip stage and im not able to say when they would publish at least test version.

But still, imo you should talk to Hero or CGi. Even if you wont be able to use that framework they are working on, i'm sure they would be able to give you plenty of tips how to do things.

Does anyone feel like summarising who is doing what with what framework on this subject? Even if we can't pull everything together into a joint effort, it'd still be good to know

We  are currently working on a framework for subs and doms. Also part of the framework will be a relationship manager which cooperate with the slavery part.

Excellent idea1 I can't speak for others, but I am working with Heromaster and CGi on the APPS mod which aims to ultimately provide a framework for PC-slavery and NPC-slavery mods.

 

I am afraid, though, that we are running the risk of highjacking this thread if everyone working on framework answers here. Perhaps we should start a new thread about this?

Put it on hold for now pls. Once that framework would be ready creation of good PC slaver mod should be way easier and there is nothing like that out there atm.

APPS by Hero would be more for PC slave - at least for now.

 

Only PC slaver mod on LL i know about is Dirty Deeds (WIP) by Goubo. So pls dont abandon it .. WE NEED IT ! xD

Yep, we are focusing our work on the PC enslavement currently. If that works, we flip the conditions and see what has to be done to make it work for NPC enslavement.

 

When it's done, mods can work concurrently. No modder needs to overwrite form id's from this framework. Extensions will be handled through the extensive use of StorageUtil.

I've been working on writing out the plot and dialogue for a full Slaver Guild quest line.  Along with radiant quests and related sidequests.  

 

Here's an example of what I've been working on.

 

A Lost Pet

Quest Giver: Vash-Jahirr

Quest Start: Road outside of Windhelm

 

Synopsis - The player encounters a strange Khajiit on the road outside of Windhelm. The Khajiit introduces himself as Vash-Jahirr and that he is looking for a lost pet, who he fears has run into a nearby bear den. Upon entering the cave, the player finds the bears have been killed and the 'pet' is a woman in slave bindings. Vash exclaims his relief, then poses a question to the player. Are they willing to overlook the enslavement of this woman or are they determined to see her freed?

 

Full Dialogue and Dialogue Options

 

 

While traveling outside Windhelm, you hear a voice calling out, “Here pet! Come here girl! Where could she have wandered off to?” You see a male Khajiit walking on the road. When he sees you he starts up a conversation.

 

Vash: “Greetings my friend, I have been wandering up and down this road looking for my dear sweet pet. We only just recently came to Skyrim, and I’m afraid the excitement was too much for her, we had only just spied the docks when she jumped over the side and swam ashore. I don’t suppose you’ve seen her? She’s wearing a lovely black collar and harness?”

 

Responses:

1: I haven’t seen any animals wearing a collar like that

2: She’s probably been eaten by now

3: Possibly, what manner of animal is she?

 

Vash:

1: “I am sorry to hear that…

2: “I fear you may be correct…

3: “She’s a beautiful creature of a strong Imperial stock. I would hate to lose her…

 

…in fact I did spy a cave not to far from here where I fear she may have taken refuge. I would investigate myself, but sadly I noticed signs of animals outside the cave, and I have nothing to protect myself with. Now that I look at you, you seem quite skilled. Could I impose upon you to accompany me to recover my pet, or at least her remains so that she can be properly laid to rest?”

 

Responses:

1: Yes of course

2: Very well, what’s her name, I’d hate to have her bite me thinking me a stranger.

3: This seems like a too much effort for just a pet, what’s in it for me.

4: You should keep a better eye on your next pet. Goodbye.

5: I don’t have time for this.

 

Vash

1: “Thank you gracious hero! Please follow me, this way.”

 

2: “I have only ever called her ‘Pet’, but as long as she’s still in her harness I wouldn’t fear a bite. Please, allow me to show you the way.

 

3: “Of course I wouldn’t think of enlisting your aid without compensation. I would be happy to offer you 100 gold after her recovery. Or if I could persuade such a competent companion to accompany me to meet with my friends, I’m certain we can provide you with a great deal more!”

 

4: “A pity, but I cannot find fault in what you say. I suppose I will just have to hurry to the inn without her. Good Day.”

 

5: “Well let me know if you change your mind, I fear my dear pet won’t survive out there for long.”

 

Responses:

3A: “100 gold for a pet, that’s quite generous, lead the way.”

3B: “Okay I’ll help for 100 gold, we can talk about your friends later.  First thing’s first, where is this cave?”

3C: “No this is too, suspicious.  Count me out.”

 

Assuming the player decides to aid Vash, they are led to a nearby cave.  Inside the small cave the player discovers the bodies of two bears, and a woman in a slave harness huddled in the corner.  The player hears Vash speak up from behind them.

 

Vash

“Ah my sweet pet, thank the Divines you are safe.  Though it was quite foolish to run off on your own.” To the player, “Thank you again great hero, for aiding me in finding my dear pet.  Though you look troubled.  Oh dear, I do hope that the nature of my pet isn’t distressing you in some way?”

 

Responses:

1: “Not really, but slavery is illegal in the empire.  Isn’t it a bit dangerous to be wandering around with her like this?”

2: “I’m not sure I want to know what this is all about, just give me my gold, and I’ll be on my way.”

3: “This is disgusting!  You wanted me to help you recover you’re runaway slave!?  I swear the Jarl will hear of this!”

 

Vash

1: “Indeed it is quite dangerous, however the Empire has it’s hands full with this whole rebellion thing.  I hardly thing they’ll concern themselves with one lone slave and her master.  Though I must admit, I find your acceptance of our situation quite refreshing.  In fact I was hoping I might run into someone like you who has some familiarity with this land and it’s people.  Please, you must meet with my friends, I am certain we will be of service to each other!”

 

2: “I can appreciate your concern, and of course here is your money. [gain 100 Gold]  I do hope you could help me still further though.  We are new to Skyrim, and would benefit greatly from someone who knows of these lands and their people.  Please would you consider meeting with my friends?”

 

3: “Oh dear, I am sorry to hear that”  [Vash’s pet attacks the player from behind]

 

Responses:

1A: “Yes” – Begin quest ‘Breaking Bread’

1B: “No” – “I am sorry to hear that, perhaps we will meet in the future”

 

2A: “Yes” – Begin quest ‘Breaking Bread’

2B: “No” – Vash: “That is such a pity, isn’t it pet.”  [Vash’s Pet attacks the player from behind]

 

If the player defeats or kills the slave, they discover Vash has disappeared during the scuffle.

 

If the slave defeats the player, the player falls unconscious and awakens later, bound and gagged.  Begin quest ‘A Turn of Events”.

I firmly believe that coming to a consensus on what we want from a functional slave mod, and how best to create it, is the best way to see it created.  There is already some very solid capture mods out there, namely Defeat and Submit.  But there has yet to be a satisfying slave system created yet.  Though it seems Goubo is working on something in that direction.

 

What I would like to see in a slavery mod can be broken up into three stages.

 

Basic Slavery

 

In terms of basic slavery, I would like to have the following features:

* Designating a captured NPC as a slave
* The ability to lead the slave (already available)
* The ability to command the slave to take certain actions (also largely available)

* Buy and Sell them

 

 

Advanced Slavery

 

With advanced slavery, I would want to see more of a personality in slaves as well as adding depth to how the way they are captured and the manner in which they are trained.

 

Slave Capture and Training

 

The target is captured in one of several ways: Defeat in combat, raped and bound (in however that rape takes place), Drugged and bound, Charmed with a Spell.

The target is then taken to a secluded location and marked, likely by spell, for pickup by the Guild. 

Next you can proceed with training at the guild.

First you would physically/sexually torment the target in order to prepare them for further training. (If you simply want to keep the target a prisoner without making them a full slave, you may simply stick with this option.)

Next you condition them mentally with drugs and magic in order to prepare them for final placement. (This step seems like it may be unnecessary. Alternatively this could be used to alter the personality set of the target, in order to fit the players preferences.)

Lastly the target is trained for a specific function.
E.G. - Physical Combat, Magical Combat, Mule, Furniture, House Slave, Laborer, Prostitute, etc.

Once a fully trained slave is experienced and obedient enough, they may be trained to become a mistress. Allowing for further functionality (This isn't my original idea, I saw it referenced in one of the slaver pages, but I can't find who initially mentioned it.)

 

 

Slave Personality

 

A slave's personality will be based on a number of factors over the course of their training.

There will be three baseline personalities: Defiant, Desperate, Fearful.  Each slave will fall into each category based on their total skills.

....................Alteration..........Illusion..........Restoration

Whichever behavior they have the most associated skill points in will represent their basic behavior template. This allows for a variety of behaviors across different 'classes'.

As the target is trained their behavior and dialogue will progress as well.

Untrained..............Defiant.....Desperate........Fearful
Basic Training....Resistant.....Confused.....Despondent
Fully Trained..........Loyal...........Eager........Submissive


 

 

Immersive Slavery

 

I see immersive slavery as further improving each area of the enslavement process. Having to sneak out of a town with a bound slave over your shoulder, running the risk of being caught.

Having specific effects for different forms of training. Having specific forms of training in order to create specific types of slaves.

 

There could also be further enhancement of a slave's personality after full training.  To the effect of how loyal and how they feel about their master effecting their personality.

 

Furthermore this stage would include unique slaves with their specific dialogue and behavior for the various levels of training.
