Ok thanks.

So just to be clear on point 3 if I select Bob profile in the left window and then launch thru MO using SKSE it will launch that profile and saves. So when I get in game those mods tied to that profile will work and only them and I will only be able to see and load saves from that profile correct? I think that is true but checking to be sure.

New question, when I run FNIS does it matter which profile I have selected? Or do I need to run FNIS for each profile. Say for example I add a idle animation pack to the default profile which adds to all the profiles. If I run FNIS with the default profile selected. Will I thnk need to run FNIS with the Bob profile selected? Or will just running it from default work for all with FNIS?

Oh, I also use Optimizer Texures (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12801/?) and run this as an executable. It has a .bsa option in it, too, that I haven't played with. It may be useful to you for packing .bsa's and/or optimizing textures for performance.

Ok, thanks for that. I am guessing to use that I need to download it manually install it and then add it to the Modified Exe list and run it from MO?

So same question with this, will I have to run it for each profile or will just running it work on all the profiles?

Yup, only "Bob" will be accessed in any way.

Running FNIS shouldn't matter if you use all the same animation mods for all profiles. But if each has it's own set of SL mods, for example, it should be run each time. You can run FNIS with a profile and have it generate it's output to the overwrite folder then right click that folder and make a pseudo mod from it (name it with the character's name or something) then repeat for each character/profile.

It need run from MO, just like all executables must for MO (and ultimately the game) to recognize them or for them to recognize the game. I haven't run that for each profile but I leave my overwrite folder in place and just run FNIS any time I change profiles (they don't all have the same animation mods attached to them). So the texture overwrites just stay there all the while and the FNIS output will change.

If you open the overwrite folder you can see what all is in there. FNIS stuff should all be in the meshes folder.

Ok cool thanks. animations and SL mods are the one thing I think will always be the same for every profile I use. But I just wanted to check to be sure.

Again thanks for taking the time to answer all of my many questions.

Now all I got to do is work down the list of reinstalling my over 100 mods I had installed... and then my goal is to make BSA's files out of some of those loose texture and mesh files to help speed up my load screen.

BTW for those wondering, I removed all the mods with NMM and checked and my game loads in like 6-7 seconds. So it was the mods causing it to take longer to load like CGi thought.

Ok sometimes I feel dumb, MO is making me feel that way today.

I am trying to install FNIS with MO. When I double click it to install after I DLed it with MO the popup window says "No game data on top level." in the guide video it said when you see that to right click data folder and click set data directory to fix it. But that didn't work. It says there is no esm etc with this mod when I hover over the red text. Sadly I have no idea what I am suppose to do to fix this so i can install FNIS.

This is the newest version of FNIS repacked for MO (with the .exe files in there so they need placed into /data/tools/ manually). It's the main file, creatures and spells all in one easy to use MO-friendly structure.

It installs for me but I didn't test it in game since I am still using the older version and it works so well I don't wanna' tempt fate.
