Hentai-chan Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 What's the difference between injector and wrapper versions of ENB? I am asking because a real performance-friendly ENB called Serenity might just be what I am looking for. It' eay on the eyes, too. Problem is: My rig is not as strong as it should be to run games on their highest settings. So is there any kind of difference performance-wise? Or are they just different methods designed for laptops and desktops, respectively?
gvman3670 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 I found that any ENB, "performance" or not, was too much for my laptop. At least a 20fps drop in any setting. And that made it unplayable outdoors in combat. It became a freakin' slideshow! One that gave me a headache. But the "I Can't Believe It's NOT an ENB" on Nexus (and it's required mods) works great with no performance loss at all. And it's highly tunable to look any way you want it to, even on the fly throught the MCM menu.
Benmc20 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 The wrapper version is usually used in desktop environnement. Works pretty well with FRAPS or Bandicam to take screenshots. Plus, this is the most compatible version. The injector version is meant to be used on laptops with two GPUs (the one integrated in the CUP, the other diedicaced).
