Handelo Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Notice: I've dropped this mod since it is now obsolete. Jiitek's "Tight-Body set" is a much more refined version of what I was trying to accomplish, based on the excellent UNP body, and I could not do better myself. You can get it here: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=4367 I've moved on to bigger and better things, hopefully you'll see my animations featured in a large overhaul mod in the near future. Thanks to everyone who supported me on this project - you guys are awesome! ---- Small update - added the fix to the weird shadow. Working on brand new skinning, look forward to it! ---- Hey everyone! Thought it's about time I contributed something to this great (though perverted) community, and here it is! I give you - Variable Breast Size Bodies! As a personal natural breast lover, I thought there was a serious lack of non-implant models that looked good. TnTs awesome Hera/Athena model was one, but unfortunately lacked in the smaller breast area. My model is based off theirs, but gives you the freedom to play with the breast size to your liking using the weight slider, from A-cup to F-cup. I went for the realistic, natural look, so you will be disappointed if you're looking for gravity defying GG breasts. Not here I've also made a bigger bottom variant of the heavier body for the booty lovers. Not sure if I nailed it right, I'll be expecting feedback. Installation You all already know how to install - drag and drop into your main Skyrim folder, overwrite as requested. Notes 1. I've included my own custom textures, which are based off both TnTs Hera and Thorpacs Alpha release. They fix minor seams and give a smoother look to the face. These are my own preference and are lighter in color than the vanilla ones. The model is compatible with all Hera/Athena textures which you can find here. 2. You only need to download either the main file or the variant - they both include all the necessary files. 3. I've included an optional No Squares file for the head, body and hands. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. What does this do? Well, even after fitting to the PC, the normal map files still suffered from poor compression. While DXT compression is great for diffuse (texture) maps, they suck for normal maps. The only ways to be completely rid of the squares in-game would be to either use uncompressed maps (bad idea) or increase their resolution (worse idea). I've picked the first option, as it's more memory intensive but less graphics-intensive. I've had no adverse effects from this, but should you encounter issues, simply revert back to the original files. These files should be installed only after installing one of the main mods. 4. Though close, the model is not completely seamless on the hands. I'm aware of it and will be trying to resolve it in a future release. 5. Some armor and clothing may need refitting for this model. Depending on how well it's received, I may or may not do this. 6. This is a WIP and should be treated as such. Though I've tried to iron out the issues as much as possible, there are sure to be some. Please report any you might find so I can try and sort them out. Blackbryre Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 The breast shape looks pretty natural. Nice work
shedidwhat Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 I like it. only request I would make would be less body glow and the no squares is great thank you
Handelo Posted January 17, 2012 Author Posted January 17, 2012 I like it. only request I would make would be less body glow and the no squares is great thank you I've noticed the body glow myself, and tested out what could be the cause. It's either something in the nif file, or something with the ENB processing that's causing it. It's not the textures, since vanilla has the same problem. I'll correct it (if possible) as soon as I can
ToJKa Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 I was actually hoping something like this coming along. One mod that allows both extremes, and the "natural" is a plus
You Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 AWESOME!! Most of the ones I found (Body mods) had boobs too big. This one got the shape and the size right. Good job.
n3zum1 Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 great work... there are so many boobies bouncing around here that it's difficult to choose one... thanks!
Handelo Posted January 18, 2012 Author Posted January 18, 2012 is this compatible with CHSBHC? Unfortunately, no. I didn't want to delve into that area yet since it's still unexplored territory for most modders, and still has plenty of issues. Maybe, if Cherry manages to sort out most problems, i'll try and skin this model to her skeleton. Plus, currently the animations are horrid to my taste lol. On a side note, I've dug into the nif files and managed to find and disable the, uhh.. reflectivity? on the body, plus made some texture enhancements. Not critical enough for a new version released though. Couldn't get rid of the glow. The glow is generated directly by the game engine (or maybe one of the shader/lighting injectors installed) and is caused by the light-color textures I've used. Not sure I want to retexture everything for slightly less glow (it'll still be there anyway).
n3zum1 Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 actually the glow didn't bother me at all, aside from the kinda exagerated bloom, the red tint between light and shadows in the skin looks like some sort of fake sub-surface scattering and I like it...
Firedoom Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Very nice mesh. Very nice work. Couple things... The femalebody_0.nif and femalebody_1.nif meshes are not aligned correctly with the scene root. It appears to be pushed back and to it's left. I'm not sure that raises any issues right now, but I suspect it may eventually turn out to be a problem. The textures around my favorite part of the body, the butt, could use some more love.

[/quote'] You are absolutely right about the alignment. How did I miss that? I haven't seen any issues with this, but it will be corrected in the next version. As for the butt textures, I've already slightly edited them (removed the improperly placed crease). I haven't seen any other possible edit, so what do you suggest?
sheamus Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 only request I would make would be less body glow I've noticed the body glow myself' date=' and tested out what could be the cause. I'll correct it (if possible) as soon as I can [/quote'] My ENB colour settings are very close to vanilla ones, I don't know how game engine renders textures but I simply loaded them into GIMP then reduced saturation by 60 points, lightness by 30 and hue by 5. With your textures my beloved redguard wife had orange skin tone but after my "tweaks" she has beautiful dark coloured body with no glow. I can easily apply glow and shine effect by changing *_s.dds textures.

Check the alignment of the textures around the butt area while crouching and tighten them up. That is my only other concern.
uglybastard Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 That's the most natural looking body so far. good job although I think there should be a bit more thickness variation with the slider for rest of the body, mainly thighs, arms and waist. if they could be brought to match the vanilla look more it would be perfect
Mshai Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 @Handelo: I wouldn't want to be a pain in the ass, but I'm interested are you planning to work on that glow issue? Or someone else maybe?
Handelo Posted January 21, 2012 Author Posted January 21, 2012 @Handelo: I wouldn't want to be a pain in the ass' date=' but I'm interested are you planning to work on that glow issue? Or someone else maybe? [/quote'] Yea, i'll re-edit the texture saturation and that should solve it mostly. I'm still working a new version, found some more important issues (like skinning) that need fixing. Could take me a day or 2 though, since I don't have much time. Be patient
tonicwalter Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 I'm getting weird results (shadow areas too dark) - I thought I deinstalled all the CBBE-textures, but apparently I didnt. Do you have a texture pack available? Nvm that, I got it. Another question, is there gonna be a way to make this work with Bellas Better females? There are skin colour (lightness) issues. Great work!
shedidwhat Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 all Athena/Hera textures will work with this body many to choose from and some already match bella's color
Handelo Posted January 22, 2012 Author Posted January 22, 2012 Okay, new version released, textures are now glow-less, non-reflective, and fixed in the abdomen area. Also I've updated the model skinning to work out some issues, and centered the models (thanks Firedoom ). I also found that the texture compression was not consistent, so I've changed that as well. Download is on main post.
Firedoom Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Hotness. But I am noticing an odd shadow in exterior light that appears around the midsection. If no one else notices it, it may just be some other mod I have installed.

If no one else notices it' date=' it may just be some other mod I have installed. [/quote'] Hadn't tested it outdoors - you're right. What the hell? Also, if you set your weight to 100, it disappears, but anything under and it's still there. Probably something with the low weight nif file, but I can't find ANY differences between the 2! Hmm, this will require a thorough investigation... Thanks for the heads up!

Hmm, this will require a thorough investigation... Thanks for the heads up! I was going to try to make some uneducated guesses about what something I noticed meant, and waste your time with useless information but I thought better of it. So here's what I noticed. When you select the the mesh in Nifskope, looking at femalebody_0.nif if you look at the midsection you will see that some of the triangles there share edges that are noticeably faint compared to the rest, and that doesn't appear to happen in femalebody_1.nif. I have no idea if that even means anything.
tonicwalter Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Are there any useful tutorials on texture editing you guys know of - or is it learning by doing? Last time I tried, the whole skin textures went black. Hahaha. Ontopic though: I'm really liking the breast shape, but could you give her a bit less waist? Proportionally, you shouldnt have that much of a difference between hips, waist and ribcage. I think. Big ups!

Just make sure to save it in a proper format (dds) and with a compatible compression type (DXT1/3/5/8.8.8 RGB/8.8.8.8 ARGB). If you're making textures from scratch, that's something else. You'll need nVidia's DDS plugin if you're using Photoshop. Don't know about GIMP. As for the shape, this mod is really more of a personal preferment. I like 'em skinny Small update: The shadow problem seems to stem from my new skinning. Apparently I didn't copy it fully between the meshes, so the heavy model doesn't suffer from the same issue. I'm now trying to correct this.
