bigglebojiggle Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Im sure this is probable very simple but its just not clicking for me, I have no Idea what to do. All I know is I open TexBlend, magic is supposed to happen and the mod works. Its not a very big deal, but Id like to try it out. I, supposed to be able to choose textures I want to use as the source but I get no option at all, I am confused. Oh I use Mod Organizer if that matters at all (though I have TexBlend in the Skyrim data folder). I also dont have the slightest idea where the file saves when I attempt to make one, I dont see even any option to save link: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/16731/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D16731%26preview%3D&pUp=1
germanicus Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I can tell tell you how to do it for NMM users. Maybe the procedure is the same. First, you have to choose the base body type. I have dimonized UNP skinny body. 2. Then install body mesh or texture - I have top model UNP. When asked to replace (in my case dimonized UNP) confirm - Yes to all. 3. Install Fitness body and when asked to overwrite, confirmed - Yes to all. And that's it. Just ake sure that you install exactly the type of fitness body as it is your base body. Here are the pictures of my follower with all three named things
bigglebojiggle Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 Unfortunately MO doesnt save to the data folder it saves to its own folder (I use this cause I dont want to mess up the game again). Whats odd is it doesnt recognize the vanilla textures in the data/textures..etc either, it just stays blank. If I move, lets say the Dream Girl mod, into Calientes source folder it doesnt do anything either. And your follower looks pretty nice btw
germanicus Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Thanks. Sorry, I can't help you with MO. But you can try manual installation. I guess that someone might help you or there is a "follow-up" how to do manual installation. If you decided to do that, just follow the above order and always rewrite all.
bigglebojiggle Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 Its ok, I used NMM for a while but I seriously messed up game (Im pretty new to PC gaming, still learning the ropes) and had to redownload it. MO isnt perfect, but at least Im less likely to mess up the game as seriously as I did last time. If you havent used MO before, basically what it does is it makes a separate folder for the mods and doesnt overwrite the default files, then game is run straight from MO pulling mod files from its specific folder.
germanicus Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 LOL. It's funny. At first, I had NMM, being unsatisfied I turned to MO. Being very complicated for use to me since I did not understanding the program at all, I returned back to NMM and now I'm satisfied.
gvman3670 Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I have used the fitness body. So I'm not sure how to use it inside of MO, but can say any files it generates would most likely end up in the overwrite folder at the bottom of the mods list (just like FNIS does). You can bypass this whole thing by installing Milkdrinker or Barbarian skin textures. Milkdrinker is a bit toned and Barbarian ever moreso. Do a search here on LL and there are links/downloads to find them. This way you just install the texture and keep it if you like it or try the next one. With MO that's easy and won't hurt your game at all.
dobmc Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Just use the psd files instead of having to go through all of that bullshit. If you don't have photoshop use Gimp, its free. Can't believe people still use NMM though.
Guest Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I've got Fitness Body running with MO. I did it by creating a folder named 'textures', then placing the sub folder structure inside, so what you finish up with is: textures/actors/character/female. I zipped that up, named it 'working blender files' and installed it in MO as you would any other mod. Then all I have to do is manually drop whatever textures I want to alter in the 'female' folder and texture blender will find them. When I'm done I move them to wherever they're supposed to be and deactivate my working blender mod and I'm done. It sounds fiddlier than it is.
