mythandariel Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 This has bothered the tar out of me since Oblivion. Why do reptilian females have boobs? It breaks me right out of immersion and makes my brain hurt. Is there a mod or can one be easily made that removes the breasts from Argonian women while still keeping them curvy from the waist down?
mundaneunspeakable Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 ahahah I'm in agreement here. At least the Khajit and orcs (as met) are vaguely mammalian. The problem would probably be making an argorian flat mesh of all the armors and implementing them. Until someone does think "a wizard did it."
jdods13 Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 That will be in True Skyrim. Glad i'm not the only one that feels this way. True Skyrim Argonian woman will not have boobs... I didn't add this to the True Skyrim post mainly because I wanted to avoid the onslaught of enraged people... We are doing it regardless... if people don't like it then they can of course use their own Argonian bodies but... just thanks for making this post guys. lol Lizards shouldn't have boobs.
shedidwhat Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 now dont confuse your earth with my Tamriel In tamriel, Argonians dont like the term "Lizards" or "snakes with legs" they feel its racest ! also let me ask you, have you ever seen an Argonian egg ? no you have not, ever wonder why? we I mean they stoped laying eggs long before the caveman (im sorry...) long before the Nords ever steped foot in skyrim. and dont get me started on the Khajit fur balls ! so what if they can lick themselfs...I mean yuck... but hanging two Khajit in a tree by there tails now thats a party just in fun
mythandariel Posted January 18, 2012 Author Posted January 18, 2012 I had to shove my nerd-rage down the deepest hole I could find. The twins in the Dark Brotherhood in Oblivion describe themselves as Egg-Twins. So I ask, why the hell would a reptile, who lays eggs, need breasts for? I want my flat chested Iksar look alikes, damnit! Also, just in fun.

[/quote'] ahh nice to see another eq player! we will have to suffer breasts on them till the ck comes out, and if it works like fallout 3 you can make an esp that points to another body for the race.
guilmonex Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Whether or not Argonians lay eggs has been seen to be a contentious issue even amongst the series developers. Mark Nelson made a post in-character to the Elder Scrolls Forums which seemed to imply that both were possible, but Pete Hines replied back that Argonians were most certainly ovoviviparous, gestating and hatching eggs inside their bodies. Mark Nelson replied back with the cautionary "perhaps it is both, as necessity demands." Found this in one of the wiki websites. I'll keep their boobs in this case.
ToJKa Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 From what i've heard they lay eggs in safe environment and birth living babies in hostile ones. Also, only Morrowind has had breastless argonians, every other game they've had them. Additionally, there are rumors that there are different variations of argonians, like the kahjiit. As a sidenote, shouldn't khajiit females have more than two?

ToJKa Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 No' date=' since they have a human chest and body structure. [/quote'] Yet in books they are often referred to have litter; more than one child at once. And since all khajiits aren't antrophomorphic, yet they all look the same when they're born, that may not apply. Also there are other anatomical facts about the male parts that correspond to cats... So in other words, since these imaginary races a lot of unrealistic things may apply to them.
