DovahkiinDagnes Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Guys, I want you to hell me with downloading mods from loverslab. Do i place the file that i download in like the main page of steam for skyrim or like some other files?
AmyScarlet Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Really? http://www.loverslab.com/topic/19119-guide-how-to-download-mods-off-this-site/
hryh23k9823u Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Though I'd recommend you to use Mod Organizer, that post is somewhat old, and Mod Organizer doesn't screw your skyrim installation in case you something wrong: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1334/?
gvman3670 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 For anyone who understands how the Skyrim folder structure is laid out, and that should be anyone who's done any amount of manual installations, I would STRONGLY suggest getting Mod Organizer and running from a fresh, clean Skryim install. It is truly THE best way to mod Skyrim. No other method compares.
nutluck Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 If you want to learn how to mod skyrim I would start by watching Gophers great youtube series on it. Not only does he show you how to install something you will need like SKSE and other well done mods but by the time you are done you will know how to add anymore from any site. Since he covers varies ways to install stuff, you can find the series here. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLE7DlYarj-DdhDG41roBVJfNCqvO5MmKP
Bewe Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 I simply put it in my NMM(mods folder) and install it just like other mods. But check the mod pack is organized first. Like what the above said, if you're fresh, then start with MO(Mod organizer). I heard its way better to use than NMM. I'm only using NMM for now cause I'm so use to it...most likely switching over after a fresh install later.
