Sunja44 Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Today I crushed to reboot (not only to desktop) because there seems to be an issue with not sufficient power delivered by my power adaptor (2x Geforce GTX Titan for a SLI system needs some fuel) and afterwards I could not start Skyrim by SKSE anymore, crush on load. Ok, a missing master I thought, but all masters were present. Ok, maybe a corrupt master file and as I always have a vanilla Skyrim installation as backup, I replaced all DLC.esms, all DLC.bsa and reinstalled SKSE and my ENB. No effect, still crush to desktop. Ok, I deinstalled all master files one by one and after I deinstalled SexLab Framework I was able to get to the loading screen and could load a save without issues. Ok, SexLab Framework is corrupt, good to have a back up somewhere, installed it, crush to desktop. Ok, what SKSE files does SexLab create during playing the game ...and I found StorageUtil.save, I guess it will be created by StorageUtil.dll. I deleted it and to my suprise I could start Skyrim with SexLab, all other Sexlab mods and even all my animation and MCM settings were still there. So what does this damned file do, that it has to be loaded like a master and gives you a wrong hint where the issue might be ?
DavidtheEpic Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 I had the problem that skse didn'T work till i deleted StorageUtil.save and StorageUtil.dll so I also want to know. For what do you need those two?
Ashal Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 SexLab v1.50+ doesn't make any use of the .save file, it stores all it's external settings in json files.
