Bandits Are Friendly

Somehow my PC has joined the bandit faction or something like that.  When I encounter bandits they simply ignore me.  When I attack them they simply tell me not to do that.  Is their a console command that will revert this problem?

Thanks!

Try "player.removefromfaction 0001BCC0" in the console to remove yourself from the Bandit faction.  Could also be 000E0CD9 if you're in the Bandit Ally faction.

Edit, actually I think it's "player.addtofaction 0001bcc0 -1", there doesn't seem to be a removefromfaction command, the minus one for rank removes.

Thanks, Pyrus.  Tried the code in the console command, each of them, and it did not work.  Funny thing though, just for giggles I went around Skyrim to see if there were any other abnormal situations but I got attacked by spiders and wolves and various wildlife and also Draugr.  Bandits everywhere still liked me.  Strangely enough a Vigilant of Stendarr wiped out my character, I wasn't ready for the attack as I was just passing by and didn't expect it.  I don't recall any guards/soldiers or other neutral/allied NPC's attacking.  When I get a chance I will have to check out if vampires and necromancers are surly.

Deedlit, I'm not on my PC right now so I don't have the mod list.  Also, this will sound a bit dumb, as I'm new to Windows how do I get that list here, just copy and paste the plug-in list from NMM?  In regards to Live Another Life, I had used it in the past but recently switched to Skyrim Unbound.  This character did start out as a prisoner in jail but I've had countless bandit fights and run-ins.

There is one final bit of information.  I had recently added Estus Chaurus to my mods to give it a go.  Before I added this mod everything worked together with little issue.  I'll try to get the mod list when I get back to my PC.

I hope I can solve  this, like wiping out Raiders in Fallout, taking care of the bandit camps is one of my favorite activities in Skyrim.

Did you try the removefromfaction command that I originally suggested?  I did find it eventually in a collapsed list on UESP.  I didn't see one to list all your current factions though which would be useful.

I tried the player.addtofaction ****** -1.  Didn't work.  I also tried removefromfaction, that text wasn't recognized.  I probably won't be able to get time with Skyrim much if at all this weekend.  I'll take another look in a few days.

Just an update.  I spent about an hour last night trying the console commands and testing out hostilities with other factions/groups.  Vampires, necromancers, mages all ignore and like me... sometimes.  I had a few vampires attack (I have Defeat installed) and if I lost they just watched me in the bleedout state.  When I popped back up they killed my character.  One other quirk, the bandits at Mistwatch also behaved liked the vampires, they would attack, watch me bleedout and then when I got back up they took me out.

I looked back at my saves to see what I had and I found four saves that I did not notice earlier.  Three saves I had made that I thought I had saved over plus one auto save that was fairly current.  I don't have autosave clicked as an option but sometimes when I hit the tab key the game autosaves.  So these save files also had some quirks, the older saves that reappeared had a strange effect, my PC's face looked a bit different.  Her skin texture looked odd and it was missing tattoos and a pubic hair overlay.  Her expression was also blank, missing some details like a slightly open mouth which is now closed and I think the shaders for her make-up had been removed.  Very strange.

However, the autosave which was rather recent was okay.  The character was in good shape looks-wise and better than that enemies like bandits were hostile again.  There was another quirk however.  This auto-save occurred when I was in the middle of fighting the bandits at White River Watch just outside of Whiterun.  Before the save they had defeated my character, took her stuff and placed her in a chastity belt/armbinder and let her go outside the camp.  I had to go back to town and get them removed before I went after the bandits a second time.  I had taken care of that, got my back-up weapons from my camp outside of Whiterun and was headed towards the bandits when the game made the autosave.  In the first go around I had the devious device gear still in my inventory, went through the camp and beat the bandits.  Afterwards on my way to Valtheim Towers to take on more bandits and collect a bounty I had a fight with some necromancers, lost that too but the city guards helped me out, got to the towers and everyone was friendly.  That's where the trouble began that made me post this thread.  The difference is when I went back to the auto-save last night the devious device gear was missing from my inventory and everyone that was usually hostile remained hostile.

So, I don't know how to fix the problem and it will most likely occur again if I don't remove some mods but my game is okay right now.  Sorry if that was all rather long-winded but I thought I should be thorough.
