Kyocera Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Ever come across food and snacks with stupid flavours and do they ever taste like they're supposed to? Here's a couple of examples from the UK. No, they taste fuck all like a meast feast pizza and a doner kebab. Who comes up with this shit?
Guest Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Well, you gotta commend them for trying! (even though the food tastes like crap). Here's one: Borscht Flavored Ice Cream! Borscht is a stew made up of beats, radishes, cabbage, potatoes, and sometimes meat in the Slavic countries (my family is Ukrainian, so we had it all the time when I was a child. It was pretty good, but borscht flavored ice cream!? YUCK. Did somebody order Borscht flavored ice cream with a side of dill??
EvenstarGW Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Lol, yeah mostly in the crisps department. Mango chili crisps, or Babi Pangang (Chinese Pork Dish) crisps, which tasted nothing like it. But ah well, can't blame them for trying, they gotta try something new to get an edge in the current market. Who knows, maybe one day they'll come up with something that actually tastes better than just salted >.>

Arce dairy used to make it, maybe they still do, but I haven't talked to my ex in 12ish years, it was her idea so I don't know if it ever took off, Kit always did have weird tastes, but was a hell of a cook. Lemon flavored dried apple. I've seen that starting to take off here too. And hey Babi Pangang is pretty good, long as there's more sweet than sour to it.

But pringles has some wtf flavors. Loaded baked potato, honey mustard, Come on. But you wanna see some stupid/weird flavored food. Look up Japanese kit kat flavors.
DorkDiva Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Worst thing I ever encountered was at a festival I walked through in Seattle, there was a vendor selling chips and stuff, I bought a bag and I swear it smelled like sweaty, smelly, ass, with a hint of a non cleaned vagina thrown in, it was a crisp type of snack, kind of like a cheato in a way, but they were not from the states here, wish I kept the bag so I could take a picture. When it came to the taste, it ironically tasted as it smelled and I got pretty nauseated.
