Parky Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Recently I have not been able to activate things like chairs, crafting tables, smithing. I can loot, pick locks, have sex, kill and cast spells. I just recently added Dawnguard and Heathfire and suspect the issue lies there. I can go back to some very old saves and the activate function works correctly, any thoughts?
myuhinny Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Could be that you have a corrupted save file and the only way to fix that will probably to go back to a old save file. That is one of the reasons a person needs to make more hard saves and not just quick saves so that a person has a save that they can go back to especially if you are adding mods that way if a mod conflicts or causes problems you can uninstall the mod and go back to the save before you installed it.
Parky Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 I generally always hard save, but the I didn't notice the issue till quite a ways along. So going back will be quite annoying, but thanks for the suggestion anyways.
