Ches Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I'm treading uncomfortably close to the dreaded 255-plugin limit. I know that there are a handful of applications that can reduce the number of plugins necessary by combining the .esp files of similar mods, and much of what I do have installed is just unscripted custom armor/clothing/items that I'm guessing can probably all be put together into one larger package with relative ease. My question is, how? What's the best tool for doing this, and what are the instructions for doing so?
Herrmannesque Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 This is what I've been using. Just started doing this recently... Â http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37981/?
germanicus Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I would also recommend TESedit, Creation Kit (for manual combining) and Wrye bash (I personally love this one) that do a great job. All of the programs have video tutorials on YouTube.
Ches Posted April 13, 2014 Author Posted April 13, 2014 Thanks a ton. TES5Edit with Merge Plugin seems to be the best option for me for the time being. Hopefully I'll be able to consolidate all of my unscripted mods into one plugin.
