Pixie-K Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 So I was jerking around in the TES Construction Set, and I was noticing a lot of unobtainable, non-player items within one of my installed mods. I thought to myself "I would SO love to have these items" Particularly armor/clothing type parts of some NPCs added in by a mod. And so I was wondering... Using the CS, how do I go about giving these things to myself?
manam Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 The best way I can suggest doing it is just adding a chest somewhere in the world you won't forget (like the Bannered Mare or somesuch) and put the stuff you'd like in the chest. When it comes to saving, you'll either have to mark the file that added the stuff as the active .esp (which means when you save, you'll have permanently changed that .esp), or save it as a new .esp, which then you'll have to enable to get the chest to show up. I think that's about all there is to it.
Pixie-K Posted April 9, 2014 Author Posted April 9, 2014 so uhh... heh *nervous laugh* How do I "put" the items in said chest? Ah hell I'm gonna need a full tutorial. I don't know how to do anything other than preview objects with the CS
Vaelorian Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Simple case of double clicking things, or clicking & draging things. The CS is actually extremely intuitive for the most part.
DogOnPorch Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 This really helped me when I was starting on the CS. http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php?title=Main_Page Just follow the lessons given.
