Is it possible to Play as standalone followers?

As the title says I was wondering if it was possible(And if it is how I would be able to do it) to play as a standalone follower mod. I mean take there face settings/looks and import them to my character. it depends on how the followers face was made I guess but it is possible although I couldn't tell you exactly how.

From my understanding every NPC follower or otherwise has a section in the game that has the code r/t to their looks. Hair, eyes, even outfits. There should also be a section with the geometry of their faces etc. If found you should be able to copy over the face to your own "character" preset. It isn't something I have done but I have read around and tried to understand this concept so that I could as well take someones elses face for my main character as well.

There is a mod that lets you target npc and 'copy face' as saved preset for race menu, just can't remember name... RaceMenu ?

Oh yea I remember that one it won't work for all follower mods though. I downloaded it just for the angelidia follower but that didn't work. It will work for most here's a link it's the mimic pluggin you need and whatever requirements for that.
