boo Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 SoS - Vanilla Bodies.7z So I made SoS-compatible meshes based on the vanilla / sundracon bodies. However, at the highest weight (and only the higest weight), a seam appears. Anybody have ideas on what I can do to fix this since the meshes line up perfectly in Blender, and the weights at the corresponding vertices should match?
boo Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 It's pretty clear at max weight. Did you put the meshes in the right directory? You can see in the screenshots. The one without the seam is the notch just before max weight.
b3lisario Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I was looking for seams in the arms / legs... It looks like an issue caused by the weights. I've checked one vertex in each mesh, and they hadn't the same values for the pelvis bone. I think the game uses the weights of the _0 mesh from size 0 to 99.
gerra6 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 You should be able to fix it with Mesh Rigger. Just select the _0 body as the template, select both the _0 and the _1 bodies as the targets. Set vertex targets to 1 and click OK. Mesh Rigger will automatically generate a new _1 body that won't have the seam problem.
gerra6 Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 The very magical Mesh Rigger resides over in the Modder's Resources section. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/24797-mesh-rigger-skyrim-fallout-oblivion-beta46-3-23-2014/
