So.... I started out just playing the game through, pretty much vanilla all the way.

One thing lead to another and I've got player homes, and followers, and retextured armor and then.....

SEXLAB!

And now, even having already run through the game once, I'm having fun again.

No, I'm not as heavily modded as some, but the list is kinda long, right?

Here's the kicker, folks.

I'm playing all this on a Mac Mini.

Quad Core processor, 16GB of memory, and.... Intel HD4000 integrated graphics.

I won't even TRY to do some of the enhanced graphics mods (ENB stuff) as I know I'd be asking for trouble... or at least, disappointment, but seriously.... this is VERY playable with what I consider to be a rather minimalist machine in terms of any kind of gaming graphics capability.

It's not jerky. It's smooth. Lower end graphics settings are still pretty decent. I have a couple of higher end textures mixed in but overall.... I'm pretty happy.

Oh... and also using HDT Physics Engine.

C'mon......

So, can YOUR machine run all this stuff?

If my little Mac Mini can run it, you probably can too.

I can run a bit more than that, but my CPU is such a pussy that as soon as I use scripted mods I start script-lagging, AKA "hit the submit button and enjoy winning the fight, going along your merry way, and half an hour later surrender to the plant you were about to harvest"

Well my latest machine currently has 260 mods installed with tons of textures....never owned a MAC or a MAC mini but

I can tell you the more mods you install the more strain you put on your system......careful Skyrim has been known to burn out

CPU and GPU.....if you start seeing artifacts or models that are just purple back off a bit that means your system is straining

running out of mem....if you start seeing polygons back up....its about to blow up....lol

I don't have any problems with it. I have quite a few SexLab mods, run a Custom ENB with most everything on, run HDT and currently have 252 esm / esp's running plus texture replacers. I also use a modified INI file with a number of multithreaded commands in it. The one thing that I turn down is AA, with good textures it doesn't really need it.

My system is an i5 2500k @3.2 Ghz, 16GB RAM and a Radeon 7850 w/2gb and run at 1920 x 1200 resolution. Processor has no problems, usually runs about 20% capacity. THe video card is pretty much pushed to its limits so I upped the fans speedso it stays cool enough that I don't worry about it.

If you want some graphical improvement, try this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48554 It's not an ENB but a sweetFX preset, it has almost zero performance hit and some people even report minor performance increase with the mod.

Also HialgoBoost will help/smooth your fps a lot with integrated video card like intel HD4000: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15123/?
