Alissa Kane Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Firstly you must know that I have already looked at the thread by slipsteam who also had the same problem and I went through the whole thread and tried what was suggested on it. As the page is locked and I cannot post anything I made this one instead. I have the problem where the SG hairs appear bald (except for 76 and 113 for some reason!). I am using the file from crasey29 from page 18 of the SG Hair Pack (120 hairs edition) ( http://www.loverslab.com/topic/14861-sg-hair-pack-120-hairs-edition/page-18 ). I have already moved the one .esp into the Skyrim/Data folder like it says on slipstream page and the official page and like you would with any other manual mod. I have activated the file -using NMM and its only master file is Skyrim.esm. I am completely lost on what to do and I would really like to get this mod working as I love the hairs. Please help me.
Kalilies Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Try using the updated version with 268 hairstyles instead maybe. (search on youtube for SG Hair 268 or something like that, you'll find a download link in the description)
Alissa Kane Posted March 22, 2014 Author Posted March 22, 2014 Tried the 268, moved the files into Skyrim data, same problem.
gvman3670 Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 So you moved the .esm, the .esp(s) and the meshes and textures folders into /data/ and you get nothing? If so then I don't see how it could be an issue with the hair pack itself. It's gotta' be something else causing it.
Akzyra Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Needed Files for 268: SGHairPackAIO.esp SGHairPackBase.esm meshes\SGhairs (1080 files) textures\SGhairs (540 files) Check them. Go into the "showracemenu" and reassign the hair again.
FastestDogInTheDistrict Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Also, it sounds as though you're manually installing things like this. If you're getting problems doing it this way, stop. Use a mod manager like NMM instead. Download the archive, right-click on it, and select "Open With NMM".
Alissa Kane Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 The file I used has a data folder, a readme and an SS(Pics). I put the data folder in my Skyrim folder and write over all the things in the data folder it asks about. I cannot actual see a .esp or a .esm to select in the NMM or the Skyrim launcher (I got it on steam). Edited 5 mins later: I am extremely confused. I just did all the steps above and it now works. I have no idea what I did differently or if I even did do anything different. Anyway, thanks to those who tried to help
